Darius Syrossian let's the beat hit em where it hurts with his tasty 3 tracker debut, 'Tobasco EP', for I'm A House Gangster. 'Dombak' offers centre stage to a burly portion of chunky House beats, a squealing Sax stab and backed with a classic vocal hook to set the floor ablaze with euphoria. 'Body Talk' is a cross pollination of Tech and Old School Hip-House vibes burdened with pressure beats and a dark bass throb that underpin a host of 'now das wassup!' vocal hooks. Finishing off this tasty package and armed with a driving groove is the mighty 'Zaptrak', on which Darius treats us to a little early 90's nostalgia with proper old school rave breakdown, before slapping us hard with his fresh beat wizardry.

Pure and unadulterated House music has always been Darius Syrossian's pre-occupation in place of passing fads or zeitgeist defining trends. Tirelessly touring, remixing, producing as well as taking on new musical commitments has seen Darius catapulted from ‘the worker’s champion’ in Ibiza to an international brand that is a symbol of non-conformist DJing and a musical pigeon hole destroyer all rolled into one.  He teamed up with the Sankeys brand to relaunch the huge Tribal Sessions night where Darius’ position as Musical Director and main resident DJ saw it instantly become one of the best parties on the island in its first year. The annual clubbing awards in Ibiza voted it best night at Sankeys and Darius as best House DJ as well as DJ Mag's Best of British award for best resident DJ of 2014. This lead to a relaunch in Manchester and saw every show become a sell out. The same year his debut album hit number 1 on the album sales chart, which included 16 brand new productions mixed live at Sankeys Manchester on 1 of the CD’s. 

2015 is proving to be another huge year for Darius Syrossian, he's now played pretty much every major festival in the world, he really is non-stop and one who obviously loves what he's doing. Being an artist to stand up for what he believes in, and not one to be bullied by any club or promoter, in true House Gangster style Syrossian let the music do the talking after his public split with Sankeys this spring. This strong move did not slow him down a single beat as he has just completed a very successful summer with sell out shows around the world and top notch gigs in Ibiza including the Space opening, Kehakuma at Space, HYTE at Amnesia, and also his own brand new party & residency for DO NOT SLEEP with his brothers in arms Sidney Charles & Sante, which proved to be a roaring success!

With new music forthcoming on Hector Couto's Roush label, Sante's Avotre label, as well as launching his own DO NOT SLEEP label, he is most definitely one who is Hustling for House. Having Darius part of the IAHG family on DJ Sneak's ‘I'm A House Gangster’ label is a great treat! Darius describes his House Gangster sounds as "REAL house music, no fad nonsense, its a timeless sound, house and techno will always be here, yet all the other fads that come and get big will eventually go, House Gangster sound is the sound of real House music that will never sound out of date and will always be relevant."
