Kool Hertz started rocking crowds over 20 years ago in the SA & UK scene. He has spun next to artist’s such as Fatboy Slim, Jaguar Skills, erb N dub, Crissy Criss, Cut La Roc[Rocstar/Skint], Ali B[Fabric/Kiss FM], Eddy Tm[XFM], Diesel Boy, Mark Ronson, Pascal, Counterstrike[Algorythm], Tasha Baxter, Ed Solo, JFB, Featurecast, Pimpsoul, Stickybuds, Bad Boe, DJ Wood, Country Cockney, Rejectbeats, DJ Soo, Jurassik & The Funk Hunters to name a few. On the radio he has had airplay on Kiss FM[UK], NSB[UK], RTE Pulse[Dublin], Good Hope FM[CPT], 5FM[CPT], Radio Reverb[Brighton UK] & has also been reviewed in I-DJ mag, Dj Mag & NME. He has also played corporate gigs for companies such as Yahoo. He was also recently part of Jessica van der Weert's #FlipSide project 2015. 

2010 saw him touring Poland & Canada. 2011/2012 /2013 also saw him playing shows abroad in Europe too. This year & next year he has plans for some more globe trotting TBA. You can catch Kool Hertz scratching it up at various venues in & out of London/Brighton. Besides the Breaks & DJing, he creates epic albums of all sorts of genres for Music Candy & Major Tom TV. His tunes are distributed worldwide by EMI, BMG & Universal Music for play on MTV, BBC, NBC etc. Check out the remixed version of Jimmy Castor Bunch he done for a Bulmers advert in 2013 - Bulmers “Reverse”. He also manages to squeeze in time for side projects as well as producing artists & song writing.

Things are continually blowing up for Kool Hertz. 2010/2011/2012 has had him writing & remixing tunes for Funkweapons (DC), Air Recordings (UK), Breakbeat Paradise (Denmark), Break Down Records (Dublin), Royal Soul Records (Brazil) & new labels TBA in the year. In the summer of 2012 his Ghetto Funk EP was released & he also launched his very own label Suga & Butta Records with his EP Summervibe followed by the single Rise Up in 2013. Check out his chart topping releases currently out on iTunes, Juno, Kudos, Beatport & DJ Download. He plans for much bigger things in 2013/14, so keep an eye out!

2011 also saw him joining the mighty Ghetto Funk crew who won best label at the annual Breakspoll awards in 2012. The kind of artists you will find in the Ghetto Funk crew are Nick Thayer, Goodgroove, JFB, Featurecast, Dancefloor Outlaws, Ali B, Pimpsoul, Stickybuds & Bush Doctors to name a few.
