I wrote this song from multiple perspectives but mainly involving two angels named Michael. The first is from the perspective of my family watching our cousin Michael Pelleriti during the final hours of a battle for his life from what would be the fatal bullet delivered by his own hand. This is also a call to attention for people who believe suicide is an act of cowardice. This verse is dedicated to all those who have taken their lives because the "bullet", although literal in regards to Michael, is figurative regarding others namely our cousin Dean Digilio. Suicide is an act of last resort. We need to realize that and try our hardest to find an answers to the "in between" moments that are vital to saving those who make the ultimate decision. In memory of all those gone by their own hand, namely Michael and Dean, both amazing souls gone far too soon. 

The second story is a melding pot of a couple people I loved dearly that the Wires couldn't save. The beginning is about my brother Mal who passed away at 25 years old from Barth syndrome. I watched him take his final breath standing next to his older brother Darryl aka Byrd. It's a moment I'll never forget. The verse is also a letter to my brother Michael Zarrella who passed away at 25 after doctors failed to resuscitate him. I can only picture his face in my mind and the thought will forever remain.
