Hey guys. 

So first off, NO this isn’t me leaving the community or canceling the C0MIC Concept. Just want to talk about some stuff. Second off, and more importantly, I would like to give some thoughts on recent events. This isn’t to spread controversy, to say, “I agree with everything these people have said and done” or to say, “I'm better than you bc I’ve been in the community longer,” and stuff like that. This is more to just share my feelings about recent events. If you disagree, I'm sorry.

I usually stay silent in this community. For the past 3 years I’ve been a part of it and have seen artists come and go. When a controversy inevitably erupts, I choose to stay out of it. But when I am forced to talk about it, I try to stay on neutral grounds between both sides. I’ve been around long enough to remember the prime (I guess you could call it that) of Boggerman and the Joker. (Yes, I know they fell into controversy but just stay with me) These artists were very popular for a while until people found out they were a part of some terrible stuff that inevitably got them removed from the community entirely. I don’t agree with anything these people did. I still listen to their music, but I don’t associate myself with them. And I will definitely say it is for the better without them around.

In late 2022, I got FL Studio for the first time. I was very excited because I thought I would be able to produce a better quality of music than I was before. And then R. V. Pine appeared. I think Pine really influenced my talent specifically in how different styles are made and how to implement them for a specific character or area. I did start out copying Pine’s music, but eventually I got to where I could make music that didn’t copy the inspiration. (And if you're reading this Pine, I'm sorry for that.) We’ve never spoken but Pine definitely inspired me to increase my musical talent to what it is today.

Now, The DT situation. I know most of you have heard what has happened with him and I won’t explain it here if you don’t know what happened with him. I personally don’t think DT really deserved all the hate for what he did. I do feel bad for Frosty, who was affected by it, and I generally hope she is coping with it well. I just think DT didn’t deserve all the hate that was given to him. Yes, he did blame it on autism at first, which isn’t the best argument against what he did as seen from the several comments discussing this on his post, but some of the comments on the post were very hateful towards him and I don’t think that was necessary. What DT did was wrong and he acknowledges it by moving on from the community, which might have been for the best.

I love this community man. Making music on here for the past couple of years has been a blast and truly a wild ride. I’m very thankful for all the progress I’ve made from writing music and growing the community. I guess what I was trying to say earlier is that the internet is a crazy place, it can be a place where ideas and people can flourish and thrive to be great or a place where ideas and people can be broken up and divided into something that hurts. You choose the path you want to take. No one can control you other than yourself. And if you ever consider writing a comment to an artist, consider if the person you are writing it would really appreciate this comment. Treat others how you would want to be treated. It doesn't matter what they did, your response to it is what matters.

Anyways, If I got anything wrong whether it’s information about people, or any misspellings please tell me. And I sincerely hope I don’t ruin any relationships I have with anyone in the community by posting this. I really care about the wellbeing of the people in this community, even if I don’t show it all the time. I hope you have a good day/night wherever you are, and God bless.
