Welcome to Episode 205 on Poisonoise Music with this set seeing the return of South African based artist Thabang Boshielo aka Jeremy.
Thabang Boshielo (known as Jeremy) is a Mpumalanga born DJ, currently residing in Cape Town.
He was taught by Miggs Foreal how to DJ, from there onwards he took a step further in developing himself as a DJ by exploring different dimensions. His aim was to feed the fans/crowd with 
deep/soulful house music but at a later stage he developed a liking for ambient/dub techno music.
His inspiration comes from the likes of Faidel, Warmth, Heavenchord, Dave Marian, Roman Ridder etc...

BLOMAQ Techenie one year special mix

Laenk, as is customary, did not come to be embraced by the guest column empty-handed.

At first glance, the abandoned village within the boundaries of anomaly 418-R is unremarkable: run-down houses, windy paths, and courtyards covered with neglected thickets. However, fluorescent rain has been pouring down from a cloud that stuck above it for a thousand years.

That is why the soil around it has turned into a shining canvas, which can become a suitable illumination for any event. One of them was a DJ festival held under the auspices of the Venus Biomolecular Institute. The goal of the organizers was to identify through a visual method the fundamentals of the influence that music has on humans.

As a master from the registry of the audio stream management, Laenk was invited to the experiment. His mixing of sound volumes is famous for its ability to program the listener with rhythmic vibrations. To make the interaction as efficient as possible, it is necessary to add hidden dub textures full of chilling echoes from Van Bonn, punchy grooves with explosive percussion from Artyom Kozlov, and a composition filled with synth light from Elpierro.

The 5th installment of our In:Focus Series delves deep into a record label that we have a lot of love for. They have such a diverse array of sounds and styles that you can keep going back to again and again.

 We present to you, Ornaments.

  Ornaments was started back in 2008, and has been home to some of the worlds finest purveyors of the deep. Just a quick flick through the discography and you’ll find names like Rhauder, Paul St. Hilaire, youANDme, Moodymann, The Analog Roland Orchestra, Carlos Nilmmns, Rennie Foster, Sascha Dive, Steve Bug and Mathimidori to name just a few.

  As a label Ornaments covers a huge variety of sounds. You can find everything from Ambient, Deep House, Dub House, Hip hop, Dub Techno and minimal.   

Their most recent record came from Wareika with his LP - Tizinabi and is the 54th release. As is the case with all the mixes in our InFocus Series, the problem is not what to include but what can we possibly leave out. It’s safe to say however that due to variety of musical output by Ornaments that we will certainly be re-visiting the back catalogue for a part 2 at some point in the future.
