Justified And Ancient is the final single commercially released by The KLF in 1991, considering America: What Time Is Love? had already been released in the US a month before. Since the chorus had already appeared on 1987 it could also be considered the one the longest in the making.

January: What Time Is Love? drops the lyrics during the refrains and the recital of city and state names during the second half of the track. It also replaces the spoken intro with a bagpipe performance of “Auld Lang Syne”.

America: What Time Is Love? is a beefed-up, guitar-heavy remix of The KLF’s 1990 Live A Trancentral version in celebration of the 1,000th anniversary of the discovery of America by The Justified Ancients Of Mu Mu in 992 (or so they claimed). While the single’s slightly updated verses were once again performed by Azat Bello, AWTIL also features the vocal talent of Glenn Hughes (of Deep Purple fame) during refrains.

Love Trance is the unreleased third single from The KLF’s Pure Trance series.

The single was originally scheduled for release on 14th November 1988 with a remix single to follow one week later, though The KLF’s Completeist lists only ever listed the original 006T albeit without a proper tracklist. While the single never got finished, sleeves and labels for the original single are in circulation and pop up on eBay every now and then.

Uncompleted fourth entry in the Pure Trance series. Picture sleeves and labels were printed but never used. Unlike Love Trance or E-Train (which might or might not have evolved into Last Train To Trancentral) it’s not clear whether or not elements of Turn Up The Strobe ever appeared at a later point, though it has been talked about outside The KLF’s info sheets.

The Monster Attack Mix is an unreleased, slighty more beat-driven version of The KLF’s original What Time Is Love? which adds some additional screams and monster noises (hence its name). Its drum pattern is similar to that of the remixes which appeared on KLF004R.

The first incarnation of The White Room album was originally meant as a complementary soundtrack to the movie The KLF had started shooting from the money they had earned from Doctorin’ The Tardis. The versions of the songs are substantially different from the remixed versions which appeared on the 1991 White Room album. Many songs also appear either in whole or in part on the soundtrack to the White Room film (copies of which are also around).

When Bill and Jimmy ran into financial problems they decided to release Kylie Said To Jason as a single, hoping it would earn them enough money to complete their movie.
