3 Bands formed during at KOR! Records project at Webster's Academy in Forfar as part of the Angus Youth Music Initiative.
Hecno, Green Blue Thursdays and Sharpies created all music and content over 6 weeks in Spring 2019.

KOR Records is a label that makes music with young people with additional support needs and releases their output. 

We believe in listening as a political act.
We challenge traditional ideas of who is allowed to play music, and what that music can sound like.
We offer the experience of being in a band and making music to people who are often excluded.
We play at the edges of what music can be.
We challenge the idea that it needs to sound nice.
We experiment with methods of making music collaboratively.
We promote the act of listening to each other, and we want to provide an opportunity to be listened to.
We promote the performance and witnessing of live music as a communal experience.
We offer an alternative to mainstream music to the people we work with and their audiences.
We offer an alternative experience to the pop-idol machine – the creation of homogenous, money-driven commercial music by people whose main objective is fame or greed rather than creating art.
