「new moon」はJ-WAVEのRadio Sakamotoのオーディション入選曲である。

Koji Maruyama - new moon

Levi Chappell of musicmaking duo TSUKI (@t-s-u-k-i) creates a mix for y/n that's fit for spring. Cue delicate synths, shifting atmospheres, intricate beats that summon images of flowers opening and shoots breaking through soil in documentary-style time lapse.

"The mix is an amalgamation of songs that have been near and dear to me over the past few years," Chappell tells us about the mix. 

"I tried to include the tracks that I've found myself returning repeatedly, stuff that I've found innovative or inspiring. I'm hoping it helps these songs find some fresh ears so others can enjoy them as much as I have."

Y/N GUEST MIX 030 :: TSUKI's Spring Mix

Eucalyptus is a collaboration with Asheville based artist named @marley-carroll. 

This song is special because it's one of the last pieces of music I finished while living in Asheville, NC before moving to Los Angeles. 

The name Eucalyptus is inspired by the fresh smell of the essential oil. The feeling of that smell matches perfectly with early Spring greens in Asheville and this song is a perfect compliment to the two. Fresh electronic vibes mixed with DJ scratching and electric guitar.

'The Bridge' is the lead single from Loci Records compilation album 'Season Two', curated by downtempo favourite Emancipator. 

The collection is a wondrous explosion of vibrant sonic textures enriched with soulful and emotive pieces from notable Loci alumni artists, as well as several new additions, heralding what's to come from the label. 

A contemporary look at where downtempo stands today in electronic music, Season Two weaves in and out of various flavours ranging from instrumental hip-hop, lo-fi beat, ambient IDM, left-field electronica, and more. 

Founded and curated by downtempo staple Emancipator, Loci Records is a point of convergence - the crossroads of melodic downtempo, instrumental hip hop, and electronica. Downtempo electronic favorites Koresma & Northern Form (fka Andrew Rothschild) team up on a new collaborative single. ‘Alpine’ has an organic feel to the production, focused around overlapping guitar lines, which weave around layers of synthesizers, vocal samples, and atmospheric recordings. With both artists having a background in guitar, the track stands out as having a more guitar focused quality to it than others in the genre. A hypnotic and timeless treat, ‘Alpine’ fits in nicely alongside the producers contemporaries like Emancipator, Bonobo, and Tycho.

Koresma (Ryan Lindberg) is an electronic producer from the mountains of Asheville, NC currently based in Los Angeles, California. Koresma creates a blend of chilled electro-acoustic music centered around a strong drum groove. Inspired by landscapes and their influence on sounds, Koresma just finished working on a four part album based on the theme of a compass. The frour EP's, East, West, and North and South are out now!
