Reclaim Your City 500 | Rødhåd

I wanted to create a track that allowed the equipment in my studio to start feeding back on itself, cross modulating and generally being its own master, I imposed some control on it but let it breathe as much as I could. Some pieces of gear were in a constant state of feedback. Among the mainly analog equipment used for this track were a Roland Alpha Juno, Waldorf Pulse and DSI Tetra. 

The image is from a site I came across on the outskirts of Warsaw, Poland. I have no idea if the concrete blocks were part of an unfinished or demolished structure, but the form struck me as complete in itself.

From the dangerous part of the city of Montevideo, Uruguay in late 90s William started his journey in music at the early age of 11 years old helping programming the music and Djing in a radio show of a pirate radio station, since that
moment he never stopped to define his own style and taste of music and improve his technical skills.

In 2009 he started to release his own productions under different monikers releasing several works in digital and
physical formats.

In 2017 things have changed when he took the final decision to focus exclusively on his new project called William Arist, helped by the opening of his own promotion platform(label)PerseveranciaRecords. 

Since then, he played with artists such as; Anastasia Kristensen, C.T.R.L.S., Adriana Lopez, Aleja Sanchez, DaxJ,
DVS1, Eduardo De La Calle, Ellen Allien, Kolpos, Mekas, P.Firter, P.E.A.R.L., Setaoc Mass, Vinicius Honorio, etc.

His eclectic production-wise has let him get a very wide range of options to release his stuff not only in his own label
but also in others like AnimalFarm(Uk), DeadCert(Uk), Tauten(SRB), works that have caught the attention and
have been supported by a variety of names ranging from Alex Do, Ben Sims, Cari Lekebusch, John Selwayor
Tensalto Karotte, Drumcomplex, Joris Voorn, Vinicius Honorio just to name a few.

Italian DJ and electronic music producer born in 1987 in Sardinia, based in Berlin. Label owner of 012.

Claudio PRC is an Italian deep techno specialist who takes cues from avant-garde and ambient music as well as the abyssal echoes of early hypnotic acid and dub. He’s been active as a DJ and producer since 2006 and released his records mainly on Prologue Music, Semantica Records and TGP, of which he is co-founder. From 2018 Claudio is resident DJ in one of Prague’s most valued clubs, Ankali, where he curates the Volumi Dinamici night. In 2020 he founded 012, a new platform dedicated to art and sound research.
