Tenacious and determined, Kortnee Kastro is an aspiring young artist, who aims to connect with his listeners through his music. His profound lyrics, deep and powerful vocals, and upbeat music leave a reverberating effect on his fans, which deeply impact them. 

Although he was born in Chicago, he moved to Milwaukee, WL, at a very young age, where he grew up and resides to this date. Kortnee Kastro first started making music as a novice at the age of 12. His poetic lyrics that allowed him to express himself and the positive feedback from his fans strengthened his faith in his talent. Since then, he has been pursuing music as a serious career.

Kortnee Kastro’s most distinctive element is his sensual vocals. His music is pre-dominantly known for revolutionizing the Hip-Hop genre. But he believes that it is the fusion of R&B and realism that allows his music to develop a unique bond with his listeners. 

So far in his career, he has performed a handful of shows. However, he finds the show at 618 to be the coolest as he performed in front of the largest crowd. He performed his favorite song, ‘Sorry no Hook’, and received an unexpectedly positive response from the crowd. Overall, he prefers performing in an intimate setting as he enjoys interacting and vibing with the crowd.

Kortnee Kastro seeks inspiration from legendary artists of the music industry, such as J. Cole and Andre 3000, but he believes his own music is entirely original and sounds like no one else but himself. Kastro has also collaborated with several local, independent Milwaukee artists.

At present, he is entirely focused on improvising and perfecting his latest release, ‘The Emancipation of Kortnee Kastro,’ which he believes will bring together people of all races. He is also focusing on promoting his brand name, scheduling more shows and touring across the country and internationally.
