Volzigt moves in Amsterdam's vibrant nightlife, where he is one of the founding fathers of @clubescargot. After years of exploring, experimenting and playing different genres of music, he has developed his own unique style and sound. His sets distinguish themselves for their melancholic and dark characteristics that also provide an uplifting vibe reminiscent of endless nights full of wonder and intensity.

'ABISMO' is a really peculiar EP - essentially, it's a cumbia release (which in itself may be surprising enough) but the genre is served here accompanied by an array of unexpected elements: nostalgic guitars, dreamy vocal samples reminiscent of 2010s electronica, long beatless fragments and monumentally airy synths. Such mixture doesn't come as a complete shock, though, if one remembers that the previous collaborative EP by Entrañas and NTFL did contain a similarly sounding track 'Lastimándome' and the upcoming release might stem from the explorations of the same ideas that also included introduction of the reggaeton beat which in 'El Presagio Sin Cabeza' song is paired with a male vocal, bringing memories of the sad romanticism of Talisto from years back.

rāga 72 - Sound Shapes  (Tathāstu)

The Borderland, a festival between dreams and reality in so many ways is our Nordic regional Burning Man event each summer. 
This is my closing sunrise set played on Saturday morning from 5 - 11 AM. I have had an emotional week where joy and sadness had been mixed with very little sleep so on this morning I tried to express my love through music and the love I received from the dance floor were magical! 
Thanks to everyone who danced with me and who where Silly in our Sanctuary during the week! 

Me and 11 wonderful friends build a space we call Silly Sanctuary. We had an awesome sound system and great DJ played music between 5-11 both AM and PM each day. In the day time we had workshops and at night we offered people to a chill out where they could play with interactive light installations.

kosha (Sanskrit कोश, IAST: kośa), usually rendered "sheath", the covering of the Atman, or Self. 

kośa is a soundsmith who brings you a flavour mixing - downtempo, acid house, minimal//deep-tech ranging from 80 to 120 bpm, electronic yet organic tunes, deep hypnotic meditative grooves and solid kicks infused with Indian, Arabic and other Ethnic influences which we beautifully term 'spiritual deeptech' a genre coined by kośa, rooted in the deepest part of India's underground scene.

ॐ//om -The great primordial sound, the original sound from which the universe was created, the sound of all sounds together. According to Hindu metaphysics everything is made of sounds (vibrations), since everything is sound, healing through it, is an ancient ritual, as sound is not only heard through our ears but vibrates within every cell of our bodies.

For us at kosa records this network gives space to connect ideas of various forms to do art for art's sake - not for social recognition. to break the rules of systematic exploitation of the artist's energy and to feel the soul in synchonicity.

We consumed too much music and it started to leak and this is when kośa evolved into a record label in January 2019 with the release of their first various artists compilation Mīmāṃsā, though the real beginnings were with our Podcast series the raga saga https://soundcloud.com/kosamusica/sets/the-raga-saga where in we showcase an hour of beautiful music from our favorite artists from around the world.

50% of all proceeds are donated to Pawbro India Foundation that aims at feeding stray dogs and other animals in Pune, India, feeding over 150 strays everyday. Part of the artists’ stream shares are directed towards these efforts.
