A quick demo of the new Dogal Jonas Hellborg strings on a Rickenbacker 4003. These strings were designed to bring the overtone series more into line with string's fundamental note by switching to a stranded string core, rather than a solid one.
What better way to test this than with one of the first ever pieces of "popular music", written by John Dowland for lute in 1596.
