Here is quick edit of the longer session made to demo the OWL module. First section Piston Honda Mk2 going through Double Andore and Bionic Lester; Hertz Donut through MMF6 then to OWL running Jot Reverb. Modcan Dual Delay added for dub effects as send effect before it hits OWL. Sequencing via Metropolis and Brain Seed. Later on similar besides PHMK2 going through DMF2 which is modulated by Quadra. Both OWL and Modcan Dual Delay going through L1 Quad VCA/Mixer which is used for mixing only. Then straight to the sound card. No external effects used.

Buchla 200 modular run thru OWL Eurorack module. OWL is modulated by Modcan Quad LFO. Recorded in two separate tracks that fade in and out throughout the track.

OWL demo - Buchla  - Delay

Buchla modular 200 processed through the Oli Larkin's Weird phaser patch. OWL Eurorack is Modulated by Modcan Quad LFO. Two separate tracks fade in and out. OWL is on its own in the middle of the track.

OWL demo - Buchla  - OL Weird Phaser

In this one I'm running Cwejman S1 thru Elektron Analog Keys which goes to L-1 Quad VC Resonant EQ. EQ is modulated by Modcan Quad LFO, Maths and I add Modcan Dual Delay in places on the send channel and second one from Analog Keys before it hits EQ. Also, I'm using S1's ADSR envelope to modulate master level of EQ. Analog Keys are sequencing S1 and same sequence is modulating master frequency of EQ as well.  Here is the patch.

*Note there is S1 connected to Maths via CV input and ADSR-VC2 is representation of S1's envelopes. This provides master and frequency cutoff levels changing in sync with the sequence from Analog Keys. 

L-1 Demo - S1 Analog Keys thru Quad VC Res EQ

In this example I'm running S1MK2 VCOs through Sonic XV filter which is then fed to Ring SM. I'm also sending VCOs to Planar and improvise fading them with the joystick while sending back to Ring SM. Modulation and envelopes is coming from Maths and SHMk2 sequencer which is delivering melodic content and modulation of the filter. 

There is lots of interesting tones and timbers to find using this method and lots of textures of distortion and wave shaping. 

AJH Demo - Ring SM & Sonic XV - British Dirt

In this example I'm experimenting with S1 MK2 VCOs running to AJH Ring SM which is then processed by Sonic XV filter. Filter oscillates in really unique way with vibrato similar to Theramin. I track it from sequencer as well. 

AJH Demo - Sonic XV Self Oscillation

In this track I'm sending Cwejman S1 MK2 VCOs to Ring SM these are modulated by Maths and Modcan Quad LFO and sequenced by SHMK2. These are sent to Modcan Dual Delay one channel of which goes through Sonic XV one is clean. These are panned left and right on external mixer and recorded as separate track. Eventide Space is used on delay track. Main sequence that is going through RIngSM is untreated.

AJH Demo - Sonic Ring

In this track I'm using Cwejman S1 MK2 VCOs and white noise and sending these to Ring SM. S1 is modulated by Maths and Modcan Quad LFO and sequenced by SHMK2. Main sequence that is going through RIngSM and then through Sonic XV filter. Modulation of the filter makes delay like effect on the white noise. Ring modulating and foldong white noise with other signals gives extra crunch.

In this track I'm sending Cwejman S1 MK2 VCOs to Ring SM these are modulated by Maths and Modcan Quad LFO and sequenced by SHMK2. I'm sending them to Modcan Dual Delay one channel of which goes through Sonic XV and other one is going through DD onboard filter. Delays are panned left and right on external mixer and recorded as separate track. Eventide Space is used on delay track for extra space. Main sequence that is going through RIngSM is untreated. Pt2 is using different tempo and modulation settings and shows different wavefolding/shaping options.

Here is roller coster patch! :) I'm playing around with Piston Honda MK2 run to RingSM -> SonicXV which is FMed by Roland System100 VCO. Modcan Dual Delay on send for short and long delays and a bit of ambience. RingSM's subs adding more weight.

He regularly creates content, samples and alternative firmware for Eurorack manufacturers and presets, sound packs for companies such as Elektron and Waldorf. He presented his work internationally on festivals and art galleries in Europe, Asia and the USA.
