Over the past year and a half, I have been working on taking my music in new directions. My desire to learn more about music and producing has enabled me to branch out into other genres - specifically, House and Jungle.

I have spent countless hours discovering new artists and music, learning about the technical side of it all, and using what I have found to start working on my music again. Because of how different this new music I wanted to produce was to what I already know, there was an immense learning curve - it felt like starting over. I didn't know what made a house bassline, or a breakbeat in a Jungle solo; I had not experienced this alienation since the very start of my music journey and it pushed me straight into a creative block. I couldn't finish tracks, my overly-judgemental quality standards from before kept getting in the way of my end goal. Before I knew it, I was sitting at my desk well over 12 months after my last release with 30+ unfinished tracks which at best could be described as 'demos'. I wasn't getting anywhere; I needed to focus on one project and get it ready for release. It's been a frustratingly long time, but I'm glad to say I'm finally happy to present my latest work - Antidote.
