I love this kinda music & really enjoy playing it! As you'd expect it's got alot of old music but also alot of newer nu funk stuff including my new release on Manmade records & some other booties I've done... ENJOY!!!

I made it with my good friend Ed funk for his B-boy crew's training sessions (s/o Floor Crusaders!). There's probably been less than 5 copies in existence UNTIL NOW!  
Warning- this is proper original filthy funk breaks created specifically for b-boys.

Mat Frost Deep & Dirty Funk Mix

As ever this Armadillo music was entirely improvised live, on the spot, for the moment, the mood, the people and the vibe.

This is a live jam by Armadillo from 1st May 2025 at the Feathers. It’s the second part of a 23 minute exploration (1st half called The Load - Pure Half), itself part of an hour and a half of improvisation. The full 23 minute version is also here on soundcloud and is obviously what the piece is meant to be. Long and hypnotic, funky and spacey guitars, with plenty of bluesy exploration and chilled vocals.

Don’t expect a 3 minute pop song! …but music to put on and leave on... and be drawn in by … the groove will just keep on rolling… and the tune will just keep on wandering wherever it takes us…

AF15 Recorded in one take: guitars via Olympus LS-P5 mic (digital dictaphone), the rest D.I.-ed into an Olympus LS-P1 digital dictaphone.
Main vocals and lead guitar fully live with other guitar layers, bass, backing vocals and horns laid down live using a Boss RC-600 looper. Drums by Lumbeats FD.

His productions have found their way into the live sets of many luminary DJs, such as Rahaan, Mark Farina, Louie Vega, John Morales, 6th Borough Project, In Flagranti, Lady Blactronika, Faze Action, Crazy P, Kenny Dope, Mr. Scruff & many more.

Like his productions, Superbreak sets also showcase his deep and diverse taste. Weaving eclectic disco, adult house and offbeat selections together seamlessly. Always with an ear for groove and harmony and a Master at reading any room or dance floor. 

Kosta’s talents as a tastemaker extend beyond the studio and DJ booth as owner of the respected Superbreak record label. Having amassed a formidable SoundCloud following for his disco reworks
and incredible DJ sets.

An avid record collector, his love of warm analog sounds is ever-present in his selections. In addition to many DJ residencies over the years, Kosta has DJ’d in 4 continents and recently returned from a successful stint in Europe and New York.
