@tooslowtodisco's Yacht Disco Edits series has been a real hit since it's inception back last February. To be fair though who wouldn't want to imagine they were sailing around the med on a yacht over the last year. 

Volume 3 of the series has just landed packed with all manner of blissful sun soaked downtempo gems

To celebrate the release we spoke to @djsupermarkt about the label How Do You Are? and the Too Slow To Disco series, he also put together a rather special mix for us entitled The Wonderful World Of Too Slow To Disco Yacht Edits. April 16th sees the inaugural Scottish House & Disco Festival landing at SWG3 in Glasgow, we are going to be covering the festival heavily in the coming month talking to many of the artists appearing at the event.

First up is Irish collective @queenanddisco and we can't think of anyone better to start proceedings. We have been keeping an eye on these renowned party starters for a few years now as they continue to build a reputation for their high octane mix sessions be it from their live events or their lockdown streams during the height of Covid.

Their appearance at the Scottish House & Disco Festival gives us the perfect opportunity to get them in for a long overdue chat about their career to date and what we can expect when we catch them live. To top it all off they have put together a barnstormer of a mix to kick off our festival mixtape series. Superbreak Radio Show Episode 063

At BLD, we like to think we know our stuff, so we're delighted to bring you the second episode of Killer Boogie (which melted the airwaves of myhouseradio.fm)

De Gama brings back his new project with Black Light Disco for its second outing, and for this one he has brought in the supremely talented DJ, producer and all round genius, LTJ X-perience. 

De Gama will be kicking the first hour off in style - laying down the law and taking no prisoners. There’s a lot packed into this hour, with tracks from The Reflex, Paul Older, Lego Edit plus many more (including one from the main man himself, LTJ.)

And in hour 2, De Gama hands over to that main man, LTJ X-perience - aka Luca ‘LTJ’ Trevisi, aka LTJ Edits. LTJ trained as a DJ producer at the end of the 80s. Resident first at the Kinki Club in Bologna and then at the Cap Creus in Imola, he is one of the first Italian DJs to produce House music and his style weaves intricate webs of jazz grooves, Latinbossa and classic tracks from the 70s which, over time have paved the way for Acid Jazz and Rare Grooves. Tracks such as “I Don't Want This Groove To Ever End” (2012), “Ain't Nothing But A Groove” (2013), “ Don't Let The System Get You Down” (2015) and “Beggar Groove” (2017) highlight LTJ's more funk and groovy side.

Killer Boogie #02 De Gama & Special Guest LTJ X-perience

I realised last week that it's 10 years since I started DJing and producing under the Leftside Wobble moniker and it also so happened that one of the inspirations for getting back into music 10 years ago was celebrating his 50th this weekend. So a revival of the Dub Disco Deli mix series seemed apt for the occasion as that was always the series of mixes that stayed most true to the LW unbounded by genres ethos. Really enjoyed putting this one together, hope you dig it too. x

and incredible DJ sets.

An avid record collector, his love of warm analog sounds is ever-present in his selections. In addition to many DJ residencies over the years, Kosta has DJ’d in 4 continents and recently returned from a successful stint in Europe and New York.
