It's hard to overstate the impact this man and his label BBE have on our scene. Is it 25 years already? So many incredible moments that influenced generations of DJ's and music lovers. Pewrsonally I would have to cite the Strange Games and Funky Things series featuring legends DJ Spinna, Kenny Dope and Mr Thing. Jazzy Jeff's Hip Hop forever. Dimitri From Paris with several entries absolutly knocking the art of editing and remixing disco classics out of the park. Dilla's solo effort Welcome To Detroit (Thats just been re-released as a tasty 7" bundle). Kon and Amir's visionary Off Track series.... all of these have been game changing in their own rights but only make about 1% of the output of BBE. 
Obviously Pete has more dimensions to him than "just" A&Ring one of the most legendary labels there is but let's stick to the music and follow him on this week's journey as he kindly has contributed the latest addition to the series. Thank you and enjoy!

In case you are more of a Soundcloud kind of person, here is Friday's stream. I'll upload Saturday's stream at some point later during the week. I understand that nobody has the time to actually listen to so much music but I have an inherent and insatible need to keep flexing my chops and explore my records more and more and it puts a nice bit of pressure on myself to do this publicly. 

Again, it's great if you find the time to listen to these but ultimately I am making them for myself and it's a mere offer to join the ride. Maybe the goal shouldnt be that you listen to each and every one of these but just to find the one that really resonates with you and make that your own. 

I just wanna play all those records that otherwise I just dont get to play. 

In these tough times, all we can do is work harder, shine brighter, try to connect more with each other - and our selves really. 

My expertise is music, so that's what i have to give.
