Samosa Funk touched down on the myhouseradio.fm landing pad with a cargo full of funk inspired care packages to lift those Monday blues. 

First up for Volume 15 of Samosa Funk is De Gama. Displaying nerves of steel as he steps up to pick his spot from 12 yards, this is something a little different from the master of Slam-Dunk Funk. Featuring tracks from Luca C & Brigante, Tommy Stewart, Daniele Patucchi, Uptown Funk and RaBo & SnoB - this is De Gama at his best, letting the music flow like plasma through a conduit. 

For the second hour, Les Inferno is laying down the dynamite jams picked directly from his crates (which we believe are located in a secret warehouse somewhere in Rome). A Les Inferno set for Samosa Funk is always an education, and this is no different. Classics from the likes of Roy Ayres, Le Pamplemousse, Eddie Russ, Brass Construction and the late, great Ian Dury are featured in an hour that will melt your conscience into a funk pulp.

Once again, dear listeners we venture back into the Samosa Funk kitchens, airing exclusively on New York's  myhouseradio.fm with Michelin Star Producer / DJ duo De Gama and Les Inferno cooking up the Funk Sliders and Confit of Groove - served with a bottle of vintage Italian Spinasanta. 

De Gama was preparing and serving delicious antipasti and primo dishes from Firefly, Soulphication, Bah Samba, Moodena, Louie Vega and Lex & Locke amongst other tasty bits to tantalise your taste buds and aural receivers. 

Then for ‘the secondi’, Les Inferno has something for all dietary requirements and palates. Specials tonight include ‘Hubert Laws’ Linguine, Tavares Dolcelatte Pizza (with or without walnuts), Chaka Khan Skewers with Gremolata or LTJ Exchange Lamb Stew. Take your pick!

Like his productions, Superbreak sets also showcase his deep and diverse taste. Weaving eclectic disco, adult house and offbeat selections together seamlessly. Always with an ear for groove and harmony and a Master at reading any room or dance floor. 

Kosta’s talents as a tastemaker extend beyond the studio and DJ booth as owner of the respected Superbreak record label. Having amassed a formidable SoundCloud following for his disco reworks
and incredible DJ sets.

An avid record collector, his love of warm analog sounds is ever-present in his selections. In addition to many DJ residencies over the years, Kosta has DJ’d in 4 continents and recently returned from a successful stint in Europe and New York.
