It's no secret that here at Mixmag we absolutely love Booka Shade and what's not to like. The German duo made up of Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier have been at the very top of their game ever since starting out.

Their latest album 'EVE' dropped late last year and since its release the duo have ensured that there have been some suitably strong remixes to accompany the tracks, with 'Love Drug' the next single to get a set of edits. 

Today we have the premiere of Booka's Red Light remix and once again the producers have edited themselves to near-perfection. This rework is far more dancefloor focused than the original, with a deeper feel and a bumping bassline. Check this one.

Some of the best Tech House tracks from the last 10 years (or older ;-) ) in my opinion. Not to be compared with the stuff that is called Tech House today. Maybe I'm too old, but today's stuff with singing simply has nothing to do with tech house. Agree with me or not, in the end it's my personal opinion and at least the DJs in my network agree with me. Enjoy the mix, feel transported back to a time when a track could be 6 minutes or longer and the DJ had the time to think about the rest of the evening and could look and react to the audience.
