Dick novel behind Blade Runner, Kostume Kult's 10th Annual Black & Llight Ball celebrates a futuristic, robotic, sci-fi noir with a glowing purple haze … World War Terminus has passed and mankind is served by androids and electronic pets. With off-world colonies, hover cars, mood enhancement devices and black-lit radioactivity emanating from every corner,  Boston's Smeed & Suspence churn up a stew of molten, glowing intensity whipping the UV reactive population into a frenzied dance of euphoric connection.

Kostume Kult is an NYC based costume art, theme event and media collective involved in the production and proliferation of public festivals, street theater events, and underground interactive experiences.

Born in New York City and instigating nationally, we are active in the NYC Halloween Parade, Burning Man, the Mermaid Parade, Santacon, Zombiecon and many other thematic attractions.

We bring wonderful, talented, expressive people together, creating community in unique ways while challenging people to think differently about art and their role in its creation.
