This sound work is part of the project "Nature of Sound". It is a research-artistic project based on the ideas of acoustic ecology, the biophilia hypothesis, and the study of soundscapes as an important part of cultural and scientific experience, aiming to restore the connection between humans and nature through sound. Sensonica records soundscapes during expeditions to secluded natural places around the world.
In today’s world, overloaded with artificial sounds and technological noise, people are losing the ability to hear and appreciate the sounds of nature. "Nature of Sound" is a call to reconsider the acoustic environment around us, restore our connection to nature, and raise awareness about issues of acoustic ecology. For the listener, it is an opportunity to regain a mindful perception of the world, to improve emotional well-being, and find inner harmony.
@sensonica Sensonica (Yulia Gogoleva) is a sound re-searcher and sound artist, sound therapist, lecturer, curator, and writer, focusing on the intersection of sound, art, experimental elec-tronics, and mental and physical health, with a special emphasis on the influence of sound and music on the human being. In her research and practice, she combines modern science with ancient knowledge.

Alex Malevich is a sound artist, musician and sound designer. In his works he explores the dynamic boundary between the digital and the natural, creat-ing compositions that blur the line between organic and manufactured.

Intimacy in a Fluid World is an ode to posthuman love and displacement, unfolding in nonlinear, cyclic form. The title borrows from an essay by futurist and transhumanist
Work In Progress Iranian-American F. M. Esfandiary (aka FM-2030 / Fereidoun M. Esfandiar), in his call for new social relations and "mobilia". Solo ambient sounds produce a landscape of unease, fragile unbecomings as metamorphosis to some new possibility.
   
In meticulous, organic sound designs and recordings crafted over a span of several years, the LP ruminates on fragmentary emotions. The album is a self-portrait in alternative states of emotional being in the midst of future crises, interspersed with lyrical episodes and gender-twisted vocals.

Quarantine Diaries. “Memento” is a few hours of amazingly diverse musical material in which one can hear the tragedy of the alienation of all of us together and separately. Separately - and together. This is crushing music, whatever its intonation changing from track to track. Memento forces you to continue listening under any circumstances.

Each of the sixteen works is a documentary translation of thoughts that appeared under the influence of more than a month of existence closed from the world, then feelings that appeared at this time, then feelings that had to be left alone for this period.

RS is happy to announce Радиант, a mixing series of friendly DJs and producers. The maiden voyage starts with Moscow's Artem Markaryan aka ITSU (https://soundcloud.com/itsu-1) and all the recent tracks he's fond of — a compilation of minimalist and experimental sound flavoured by glitches, analogue noises and remarkable sound design widely represented in ITSU's production aswell.

The mix is dedicated to HAR 1 coming on Detroit Underground in several weeks. The LP contains some of ITSU's tracks: one that is enlisted in his next album coming in December on Barcelona's Teorema, the Diffuse Reality's sub-label, and a couple of tracks of his latest LPs — solo Autoscopy (Simphonic Silence Inside) and Requiem (Raw Russian) featuring trumpeter Vitaliy Filonov aka Mutafrukt.

The agency was formed in 2011 and is developing projects in the field of media art, sound art, and contemporary composition by doing performances and art installations, organising festivals and exhibitions worldwide.

The laboratory was launched in 2014 and is elaborating on projects that exist on the ground between sound studies, physiology, and social science: generative sound environments, sonic environments in public spaces, the sound agenda of cities, etc.
