With "Vivarium", Vienna-based live duo Mitra present their debut release and their first contribution to IO Records. Known for their immersive performances and site-responsive sound explorations, Mitra translate the raw intensity and spatial awareness of their live practice into a studio recording for the very first time.

The seven-track EP unfolds as a carefully composed sonic ecosystem. Each piece functions as a distinct organism within a living structure, contributing to a sound world that feels both precise and unpredictable. Rooted in deep listening, low-end exploration, and rhythmic subtlety, Vivarium invites audiences into an environment that is in constant transformation.

Rather than relying on fixed arrangements or traditional song structures, the tracks evolve gradually. Textures shift, patterns emerge and dissolve, and moments of stillness meet waves of tension. While firmly grounded in experimental sound design, Vivarium also reveals a sense of physicality and movement. The duo’s background in their live act is present throughout, channeling the energy of their performances into compositions that retain their organic, tactile quality.

Vivarium is more than a debut. It is an invitation to enter Mitra’s sonic world. It is a space shaped by intuition, presence, and the fluid relationship between listener, sound, and environment. With this release, Mitra opens a new chapter in their artistic trajectory, offering a compelling glimpse into the evolving potential of their sound.

She recently played at our currated night at Parvati Gathering in Germany last June.

Nælida, whose real name is Daniela, lives in Berlin and has been dancing since the late 1990s. She has followed the development of electronic music with great passion over the years. Always attracted to innovative sounds, she saw herself as a music consumer out of deep conviction. It was not unusual for her to travel to another country just to see one artist.

When she immersed herself in Berlin's downtempo sound and realized that she could combine all kinds of electronic and analog music, she also developed a desire to express herself through mixing music in 2017.

Under a diLerent name, she embarked on a musical journey through various genres and gained international experience. During this period of growth and self-discovery, she clearly remembers the moment in 2020 when she first consciously and intensely encountered hypnotic techno. This magical moment created a connection to music that took her life to a whole new level. Since then, she has been intuitively exploring the wide field of hypnotic sounds and loves it when a single track opens the door to a new dimension.

Even though the music scene is not her main profession, her passion knows almost no bounds and has led her to organize a festival in Montenegro in the past.

With her current sets, she loves to tell stories and enjoys taking her listeners on an atmospheric journey. Stylistically, she moves between ambient-based experimental, sometimes minimalist sounds and organic, hypnotically driving peak-time techno.

ENTHUSE grew up surrounded by music from an early age, starting with dance, piano, and drums. In her teenage years, ENTHUSE began dancing in the United States, later immersing herself in club culture and street dance in the Philippines and Canada.

In her early twenties, she returned to her home country of Japan and began her career as a DJ. Drawing from her background in hip-hop and house dance, ENTHUSE developed a distinctive sense of groove and a fast-paced, high-energy playing style.

In recent years, she has primarily focused on techno, actively working as a producer as well. In 2023, she gained attention both domestically and internationally by providing a techno track for the Milan Collection. In 2025, she released an EP on LETS TECHNO records. 

Under the name Yuri Nagahori, she explores a broader musical range, focusing on hip-hop, house, and disco, showcasing her unique musical style across various genres.

幼少期から音楽に囲まれて育ち、ダンス、ピアノ、ドラムを始める。
10 代の頃にアメリカでダンスを始め、その後フィリピンやカナダでクラブ文化やストリートダンスに没頭した。

20 代前半には母国日本に戻り、DJ としての活動を開始する。 ヒップホップやハウスダンスの経験から培われたグルーブ感と、スピーディーで疾走感のあるプレイスタイルを得意とする。

近年は主にテクノをプレイし、プロデューサーとしても積極的に活動中。 2023 年にはミラノコレクションでテクノ楽曲を提供するなど、国内外で注目を集めている。 2025 年には LETS TECHNO records から EP をリリース。 

また、Yuri Nagahori 名義ではヒップホップ、ハウス、ディスコといったブラックミュージックを中心に活動し、幅広いジャンルで独自の音楽性を発揮している。
