The Over The Moon series continues with EROTHYME. Erothyme' sound is a majestic blend of overblown hyperbole and meaningless adjectives that actually have nothing to do with music. His tracks land in your ear like a dolphin gracefully diving into the surface of the ocean after doing a triple backflip in front of the setting sun. About this mix, he says: "This mix features every track from my latest release, Life Sidereal (Behind the Sky Music, 2024), as well as a number of other tunes from the past decade. Life Sidereal was written around the concept of a long interstellar journey to a world in orbit around a distant star. It also served, for me, as an initiatory exploration of analogue and modular synthesis, which previously was mostly outside of my creative domain. Life Sidereal was produced in the time from 2020-2023, while I was also formally beginning my journey as a student of astrophysics. Many other tunes of mine from over the years share similarly cosmic flavors of inspiration, so I had a lot of options for branching out musically in this mix while keeping more or less to the theme. Quite a few previously unimagined mashups managed to happen here. For me, this provided a new way of hearing many of these tracks. I hope that they manage to tickle your ears, brain, & heart, as they do to mine. May you ever dwell in the thick of cosmic serendipity as you navigate the expanse of space & time, and may the starlight guide you home!"

Excited to share my late night ambient set from Rendezvous (Tipper & Friends) at Spirit of Suwanee in Florida, USA May 2024 under the live oaks, spanish moss & stars.

Deeply humbled for the opportunity to come back home to the states after so many years & thank you Dave for challenging me to share a beat & bassless set.. it was a moment in time I'll forever cherish.
