I had the pleasure of playing to the always beautiful sunsets on Koh Lanta, an island in Thailand at the Pangea Beach Bar. This was a great opportunity to put together a set of a lot of the chiller tracks I've been collecting over the last year or so.

This 2h30m set is a journey with the sun, starting off chill and, after the sun sets and the lights come on, a little bit more of a dance vibe with many throwbacks.

Thanks to Alex and @pangea-beach-bar-ko-lanta for having me play. If you're in Koh Lanta, check them ot for sunsets and for their Tuesday night parties where they bring in DJs from all over the world for a night of tech house and dancing.

Sunset Live at Pangea Bar, Koh Lanta, Thailand

We played this sunrise together almost exactly a year ago. It was the sunrise at the end of our https://soundcloud.com/campcharlieunicorns Unicorn Rampage at Leyenda Eterna 2015. Thank you so much Leyenda and ChinoSound for passing this mix over to me this week. 

Over the years, I played a few tag team sets with our little acorn. We would always say, its sort of weird how they work in this strange way. My theory was that we were 2 sides of a coin. He was this boy who knows how to be really emotional and I was this girl who was all about being really boss. LOL! Hearing every questionable mix (we were tired ok!) or funny song selection takes me back to these early morning hours. I'm glad I have this as a final goodbye to my friend <3 <3 <3

If you don't know Chili Thom he was an amazing man that touched so many people in our community here in B.C. He was a renaissance man who had many talents.  One of which was being a fantastic painter. From his hard work and dedication to his art, he left us with an amazing trail of psychedelic landscapes with gorgeous snow covered forests, super sunsets and spectacular ocean waves. The next episode of our series is mixed by Jonas Hühne from Mainz and it‘s very special to us, since he recorded it while we were traveling together in mexico.

His sound reaches from midtempo & deep techno to slow global beats. Especially in his ecstatic dance sets he is traveling through different kinds of rhythms touching the whole range of emotions with various styles of music. His vision is to create a room of safetiness and trust where people can open themselves, get in touch with their inner feelings and express whatever comes up.

He is not only a great dj, but also co-creator of the „Mach Mal Langsam“-colective that regularly hosts parties in the area around Frankfurt (Main).

As the quarantine due to covid 19 enters it's third week, this Facebook livestream set was recorded in celebration of two amazing people, Tony and David.  We were supposed to have a proper party in San Francisco, but instead we got put on our best outfits for a zoom party.  Yacht music has always been one of my favorites, although I never owned a yacht, but one can dream.
