Arís (pronounced: ah-reesh) presents the first in a new series of 90’s/early 00’s Irish Dance reissues with ARIS01; 2 remastered tracks from Bumble’s 1992 EP ‘West In Motion’ b/w a new remix from Brame & Hamo.

To honour this important record on its 30th anniversary, we have remastered 2 tracks from the original EP and invited one of West Ireland’s greatest exports Brame & Hamo to remix it; their pumping proggy take, a fitting complement to the spirit of that original era. Revisiting West In Motion after all these years helps highlight how crucial it is to the canon of modern Irish music, and will hopefully help introduce Bumble to a whole new generation as a result.

Times are unprecedented. We all have a basic understanding of the history of our planet, but now we are truly living in one of the darkest periods wherein we cannot see a clear path out. As an individual it often seems dishearteningly difficult to help aid in humanitarian efforts, but as we stand with Ukraine and understand the importance of assisting them in any way possible, we've decided to do our part by putting together a digital compilation entitled ‘Club Unity’.

It contains a diverse feast of artists that inspire us, and tracks that make you feel. Signature Haŵs vibrations touching on prog, trance and even reaching the realms of the jungle. But most importantly, all proceeds will go to the incredible platform 'WithUkraine', which consolidates international efforts in raising funds to provide humanitarian support to Ukraine and its people. 

As humans and music obsessives we stand in solidarity with life and not with those who are determined to irreparably damage the fragile fabric of humanity.

Forever grateful for all of your support and we send our love out to those affected. Huge thank you to all artists involved in the making of this compilation.

SLUMP004 lands from another South London based producer and DJ. @otusdj is a multitalented musician and producer who writes and arranges dazzling dance floor records that are entirely made using synths. Recording and re-sampling clips and beeps to craft his drums - that marry effortlessly with his lush harmonic writing. Juniper / Zinnia have both provided joyous club moments over the last 7-8 months in numerous demo forms, and now it's a privilege to be sharing these tracks with the world.

A thick cloud of pale yellow smoke billed out of the test tube, filling the clinical-looking, white washed room with a bitter odour that bristled the hairs on your nostrils. Different experiments took place at each table in the laboratory, trials and tests that came with equally positive and negative results. In their small lab-coat adorned groups, they clustered around their equipment with inquisitive expressions and furrowed brows, concocting special potions and medicines for motives we knew not.

Cologne imprint Minimood Extra - the offshoot of Minimood - are charging into 2023 arm in arm with an old label mate, David Hausdorf and his new vinyl-only EP ACID. It does exactly what it says on the tin. Unlike his previous deep dives into dub techno and Detroit-influenced sounds, the Berlin native (who is also a cellist for Munich Philharmonic Orchestra!) explores the wonders of the 303, fashioning four hypnotic tracks centred around squelching acid lines and paired with electro and techno influences.

Created using early sample sequencers such as ProTracker, these tracks radiate the authentic energy of techno’s golden era - and they’ve been hiding in plain sight in Demoscene web repositories for many years. It was during the long days of the 2020 lockdowns that Kid Who began to explore these archives, sifting through thousands of tracks to eventually amass a collection of several hundred of his favourites. Curated by Klasse Wrecks and Kid Who in close collaboration with the talented artists behind them, the .NFO project aims to bring some of these finds to the broader dance music community via a series of VA 12”s and mixes.
