A thick cloud of pale yellow smoke billed out of the test tube, filling the clinical-looking, white washed room with a bitter odour that bristled the hairs on your nostrils. Different experiments took place at each table in the laboratory, trials and tests that came with equally positive and negative results. In their small lab-coat adorned groups, they clustered around their equipment with inquisitive expressions and furrowed brows, concocting special potions and medicines for motives we knew not.

Do you love acid? If the answer is yes, well this is the record for you. Cologne imprint Minimood Extra - the offshoot of Minimood - are charging into 2023 arm in arm with an old label mate, David Hausdorf and his new vinyl-only EP ACID. It does exactly what it says on the tin. Unlike his previous deep dives into dub techno and Detroit-influenced sounds, the Berlin native (who is also a cellist for Munich Philharmonic Orchestra!) explores the wonders of the 303, fashioning four hypnotic tracks centred around squelching acid lines and paired with electro and techno influences.

A bold celebration of intergenerational NYC dance music love too! Featuring remixes that run the gambit from the deep bass synthesis of All Centre co-head and rising Brooklyn bass star Sobolik to the signature sharp 2-Step and groove-heavy Purpose Maker style techno of Sorry Records family Escaflowne (Haus of Altr, Fixed Rhythms) -- two young producers that we find ourselves sharing the Nowadays dance floor with on a frequent basis.

Old Sage EP builds on Harkin’s rather prolific recent output that has seen stellar releases on labels they love such as Oklahoma City vinyl outfit Fixed Rhythms, Hollick and Seb Wildblood’s London-based Coastal Haze, and Eamon’s own Mister Saturday Night Records.

Larmour, the UK-born and Tbilisi Georgia-based artist, is set to release his upcoming 'False Thoughts EP' on March 3rd via MOTE Records, aka Mood Of The Era. The EP takes listeners on a journey through Larmour's personal experiences and emotions as he navigates a new country and discovers the challenges and triumphs of life in a new place.

The 'False Thoughts EP' showcases Larmour's love for breaks, combined with a rich tapestry of emotions, from love to pain, loneliness, joy, and nostalgia. The four tracks on the EP, including the title track 'False Thoughts,' '52Down', 'Over' and the highly-anticipated 'N.A,' offer a glimpse into Larmour's world and provide a moving, danceable soundscape that explores the complexities of human emotions.

Q1E2 Recordings present the 2nd single taken from Dr.Sud's forthcoming EP 'Heading South'.

He’s a Rome-born, Berlin-raised producer whose music is a fusion of percussion-centric soundscapes and integrated jazz-leaning harmonies, drawing inspiration from diverse genres like electronica, funk, and house.

‘Brina’, a word which in Italian refers to morning dew – perhaps found on a tent on the morning of a festival – represents the breaking of dawn with broken beats. The track breaks and squints into the start of the day with spacious kick drums leaving room for warm, almost familiar pads and keys.
