Silas & Snare 'Expedition' - Unreleased

After absolutely smashing his artist takeover for our Edit Room series, as well as the From GAB With Love artwork, the multi-talented Will Weaver steps up for GAB MIX 033 under his new alias, Perla. 

There’s no doubt that Will’s experimental yet carefully considered artistic process carries over to his mixing. In the first half hour, Perla journeys through a range of percussive and leftfield soundscapes. Pushing the tempo through the latter 30 mins, Will explores some serious electro weapons as well as some atmospheric breakbeats. Rounding his guest mix off with an ambient intro and outro, Perla delivers the goods for GAB MIX 033. We can’t wait to see how Perla progresses over the next year and look forward to sharing some more of Will’s designs with you all very soon!

UK-born DJ/producer Pluralist has been hunting down an arsenal of dancefloor sounds since 2018. His ambition for diversity in his sets sees him tackle percussive atmospherics, syncopated beats and techno’s countless mutations.

Nightwave is a truly special talent who encompasses all aspects of underground and alternative music. We were lucky enough to have a chat around the art of being a resident, the future of clubbing in Scotland and her musical inspirations. Check it out via insta. 

The Glasgow based DJ has cemented herself as a La Cheetah Club resident, whilst billing on some of the most diverse line-ups we’ve seen across the globe. Nightwave represents the true meaning of DJing, never being bound to one genre and staying completely versatile. Each set she brings a variety of punchy acid, rave nostalgia, Chicago house, Detroit techno, bass music and beyond.
