@Manjumasi’s 15th offering proves that slow and steady wins the race! Back in July, label mastermind @atish teamed up with San Francisco neighbor @BengalSF for the first time since a debut on @Kindisch. A third of the star studded “atish + friends” EP, “Tortoise” exhibited patient yet tactful intention with each serene stride. Making his production debut for the label, A&R lead @Naveen-G makes this an in-house affair. The New Yorker utilizes modularity in his remix's first and second movements, giving rise to a breakdown full of warm, soaring synths.

On remix duties is Katermukke household name and Rebellion der Traumer resident Matchy who delivers a darker and more technoid version of the EPs title track "Eli".

Talented South African producer Deep McCent has reworked Paul Hazendonk & Noraj Cue's classic track 'Story Of Something'.

'Story Of Something' was originally released on Paul Hazendonk's album 'Adapt' which saw the light of day in 2014. It remains to be one of the iconic songs of the album, not in the last place because of the contribution of infamous spoken word artist Lazarusman.

Deep McCent's rework fits perfectly in todays populair organic downtempo vibe. A quality injection of timeless deep house that does the original more than justice.
