KHYPE010 - Kozmik Hype Recordings’ deep new single has everything to do with the label’s home base, Toronto. Deploying three artists hailing from the Canadian electronic music hub, “I Like The Way” is a big yet spacious collaboration between Brad Goldfinger and Amalia Leandro with remixes from house music veteran Paul Stickman. Goldfinger has made a career as a deep house and tech blending DJ, sharing the stage with huge international talent. Portuguese by blood, Leandro has traveled the world with stints in Toronto, NYC, and Miami as a DJ, songwriter, poet, actor… she’s a recognized creative, to say the least.

Working together they unleash an epic rush of rhythmical stabs, rising and falling pads, heavily charged bass, precision cutting hats, and a “let’s move this to the bedroom” vocal performance uprooted in dance floor romanticism. Two heavily redacted remixes come from Stickman Records and Aquarius Recordings co-founder Paul Stickman. Both are mesmerizing in their focus on the fine details, with Stickman’s Dirty Back Seat Mix entertaining into bare disco territory and his Raw Hard Dub Mix practicing a deep, minimal hypnotism. This release is refined and ready to inject some sexuality back into the dance community with no guilt, only pleasure.

It’s been a busy 2014 so far for label head Dubfire. Whilst nothing unusual for the Persian-born producer, with the revival of Deep Dish (alongside Sharam), the release of their new single 'Quincy', the continuation of the SCI+TEC radio show, the release of his much vaunted remix of 'Come' featuring Asia Argento and his relentless global touring schedule, it would be a surprise to find even a slither of studio time for original Dubfire productions…

But find he did and today he unveils EXIT, his new single and collaboration with the first lady of techno, Miss Kittin. The pair have wanted to work together for years now and after a few idea exchanges they managed to sink their teeth into something magical. The strong low-end Dubfire groove is evident once again on EXIT as the pair playfully chop and reverse Kittin's vocals, pushing and withdrawing the bass to allow her sultry vocals to shine. On the flip we're treated to the electrifying wall of sound that is MIDIAN with its all-enveloping bass, pierced by energizing and synapse-searing shocks.

KHYPE043 - Mystik Mike returns to the KHYPE imprint with his first release of 2017 entitled the 'Keep on Livin' EP. Keeping it a Canadian affair, Mystik teams up with fellow Canadian Dj / Producer Carlos Fuerte, who has been spreading the message of soulful and deep rhythms since the early 1990's.

The original mix is a dark pumping tribal arrangement, laced with sparkling synthesizers that fuse perfectly with rolling basslines and energizing vocal stabs.

The Carlos Fuerte remix creeps in with driving percussions and an explosive baseline, easing into sexy grooves and vocal stabs.
