Howdy guys, its been a fat minute since I last posted (longest break I've taken on this account actually). Sorry for the gap, I have been less focused on constant releases on here. Over the next few months some new stuff will be dropping so you can look forward to that!

The latter half was done by the homie Akimbo. We have been meaning to lab for ages so I'm really glad he could finally put some insane shit on my page. Born in Bend, OR and now living in Salem, Matson is a music visionary - Producer, DJ, and the voice behind Cascadia Cuts (@cascadiacuts) radio show on KMUZ, live every Sunday from 6pm to 7pm PST. His inspiration comes from the things he loves most, “Art, food, friends, collaborating, his dog Tuffy and of course, Timber’s games” Living in the present is something Matson truly values and “doing what feels right and is true to you, regardless of what you think others might say.” Music has been at the forefront of Matson’s entire life and I’m blessed to have him on the 1s and 2s for one of the last guest mixes of the year.

“I attended Western Oregon U on a track scholarship and studied marketing, worked for Red Bull and learned DJing. Music has always been my number one, I work hard full time by day, and do music at night. Currently producing my first mixtape, so less time to dj for now, but I still mix my favorite music weekly, Sundays at 6pm PST on KMUZ.org. I don’t usually upload the mixes, every show is just for that moment.”

Born in Boston and now living in Dover, Delaware, smoothhhhh is a DJ, producer, graphic designer, vinyl collector, and the final guest mix of 2024 for Boolah Radio's "Year of the Gang." It makes sense for smoothhhhh to close out the year—he was the first-ever guest to mix on Boolah Radio, debuting with Mix 006 back in January 2023. A music enthusiast through and through, smoothhhhh finds his future beat inspiration through the likes of Joe Kay and Soulection, J.Digs and UP Records, Cocoa Sensai and FUNKNVIBE, Andre Doughty, savvv with jussslisten radio, woahnellie with NightTide FM, and ave harris. Always an avid record collector, smoothhhhh recently reignited his passion with Tyler, The Creator's latest exclusive release pressing. Over the years of DJing, smoothhhhh has remained a disciple of finding a good flow state and experimenting with new sounds.

"(I) Vividly remember creating the idea (for FREERADIO) from scratch while having some great late night sessions gaming, and listening to music with my best friend, ave harris fka mr.geniusidiot. He had introduced me to Soulection at the peak of there sounds, learned about J.ROBB & Isaiah Rashad, and saw both live. After watching & getting the energy from the live shows, I wanted to emulate the vibes and sounds with my own friends. Learned how to DJ in 2017 and has been a major part of my life ever since. Been able to meet countless likeminded creatives all across the country and outside it as well.”
