Joining an already immense list of Finnish talents to have contributed to our label, Helsinki-based Movement Machina makes his stunning Silk debut with "Haunted," a two-track, noir-inspired progressive house EP. 

The title cut is a brooding and erotic underground stormer from start to finish. Featuring fellow Finnish artist and Silk newcomer Mia Suszko on vocals, the composition kicks off with a hypnotic, Siren-like atmosphere, mostly crafted through clever sampling and looping of the song's memorable vocal elements. At the quarter turn, we are treated to the titular motif, "I'm haunted by you." It's the first full taste of Suszko's uniquely edgy vocal styling. The suspenseful soundscape continues to crescendo, ultimately leading to several exhilarating club-oriented sequences, as well as the much anticipated response to the initial lyrical call: "Don't be afraid now darling."

The B-side, "Thrill And Terror," retrains the ominous theme of the preceding cut. A true showcase of bleeding-edge sound design, the composition reveals a variety of intricate rhythmic and atmospheric layers, as well as an other-worldly, if not supernatural lead theme.
