OR aka Olivier Cohen & Roland Vongo team up with Italian based vocalist Andy Touch aka Andrea Saolini for their brand new freshly produced single 'What Can I Say'. 

The song is served in two versions, the vocal and the dub version - which is the instrumental version of the song. 'What Can I Say' gives a laid back and atmospheric concept with Balearic slow house beats, smooth melodies, warm vocals, tasty funk soulful guitars, analogue synths and an interesting brass section. The song has got a cosmic nu disco style from the past that dives into the future.

Outerland II is heavy weighted and created with analogue synths & drum machines, followed by warm compositions and organic textures. From downtempo to balearic chill out and from ambient to groove, the artist gives a transparent way to listen clearly his outer space sound that has a heartbeat from a wonderful inner cosmos!

Its been a while since label boss Angelos Stoumpos aka Timewarp has made an appearance on Kraak Records… so with no further delay we are happy to announce his new single - Back!

Timewarp is known for his love of combining music styles in his own unique production way. With Back you will travel from Africa to Mediterranean and from there to the deep orient, all set on a happy yet moody, groovy deep and organic electro with a fusion twist. 

Back is a two track ep full of summer vibes and beach moods. Timewarp must have been on a very holiday spirit while composing both tracks, as they are full uplifting, energetic and setting the mood for a dancing evening!

First track is Backafro which is a folksy organic house afro beat! One of Timewarp’s favourite instrument, the Oud, sets the vibe for this track. Amazing back afro vocals with the combination of a kalimba kind of give a samanic vibe that has the setting of an African beach! The second track Tropitech is energetic with an eastern-oriental folk spice. The hang-drum dominates the feeling and sets the mood while Oud appears again with the combination of deep electronica sounds. Special thanks goes to Beatride for the orchestral strings & score-section.

Olivier Garth - one the two halves of the famous British duet OR, is making his first solo appearance in Kraak Records, with his new single 'Imagine Yourself'. 

'Imagine Yourself' is a downtempo classic which was recently remastered for its appearance on our label. The track was previously included in our Kraak House compilation a few years back! 

The single is based on a wonderful collaboration with the very talented singer and song writer Lorena Dale. 

The original track is a house balearic masterpiece with eclectic and sophisticated vibes. The ethereal vocals by Miss Dale enrich the feeling to a glimpse of a previous legendary house period. 

The track is remixed with Olivier's partner in crime, Rolando Vongo, aka OR. Together they completely transform the original track to a more soft, mellow, laidback downtempo and trip hop mix. Both tracks are also presented in their instrumental versions!

London-based French producer Olivier Garth is no stranger to the scene - his production career spans back 15 years or more, operating mostly in the tech-house, progressive and electro-house arenas. Here, though, Kraak re-issue a far more summery, housey-housey excursion alongside vocalist Lorena Dale that first came out back in 2016. The original track and its dub have been remastered for 2022, but perhaps the bigger news is the inclusion of two new downtempo rubs from OR that sit somewhere between Balearica, trip-hop and slo-mo early 80s electrofunk - expect to hear this muchly should you happen to be in the vicinity of any Iberican beach bars this summer...
