Another edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is just around the corner, and this year marks its 30th anniversary. As always, Chrom Recordings is ready to celebrate in style with their annual ADE Sampler and a 2-day label showcase happening on Friday and Saturday. Our ADE Chrom Sampler features 10 carefully curated tracks, reflecting the diverse sounds of Progressive House, Indie Dance, and Melodic House & Techno. The Compilation opens with 2 recent Chrom anthems: Horizon, taken from the #100-album by our own label manager Pedro Mercado alongside Karada, followed by our latest single Missing, the iconic 90s classic from Everything But The Girl covered by Yves Eaux feat. Gregory Douglass. The remaining 8 tracks are brand-new and exclusive to this release. Half of them are contributions from trusted Chrom regulars: Fernando Lagreca, DJ Andy de Gage, Paul Sawyer and Daniel Vilchez. The other half is coming from artists who are new to our label: JP Lantieri from France, VUH from Mexico, GELIMA from Thailand and Juwlz from Belgium. We hope you enjoy this years selection! And if youll be in Amsterdam this October for ADE, wed love to see you at our Label Showcase on Friday the 24th and Saturday the 25th. Just like last years, were teaming up with our good friends from Tanzgemeinschaft, with Strange Town Recordings from Canada joining us on Friday. When Pig&Dan decided to join forces, they began a truly prolific production schedule establishing their reputation as producers of pulsating electronic music that straddled dark house and high-energy techno, whilst creating their signature style of twisted and experimental breakdowns. Since those early days, they have created a repertoire that not many can match and have constantly been releasing their music on the most respected labels and playing at the best events worldwide.

Pig&Dan follow up to their outstanding first EP on Drumcode with ‘Chemistry’. Compromising of three tracks the mood fluctuates with each record to create a well-balanced, dynamic EP. Chemistry is a dreamy listening platform that mixes cyclic synth lines and stabs to crescendo into a late night imagination. The other two tracks are on the harder tip with their thunderous kick drums and disorientated sounds that provide a different edge to the EP with a harder, peak time sound.

The first release on Reinier Zonneveld’s own imprint, Filth on Acid, launches a special EP-series, Cocktails Mix series, whereby Reinier Zonneveld collaborates with artists that influence him, both creatively and personally.

Cocktails Mix I brings 4 different variations of tech to the floor. First up is Cold Conquest, featuring Stil vor Talent's head honcho Oliver Koletzki, together they deliver a peak-time track with lots of emotional and musical elements, while keeping a steady heavy rhythm section.

Adding Gem’s labelhead Secret Cinema to the cocktail gives us a purist no nonsense techno banger perfect for dark rooms and dirty basements. 

For the third track on the EP, we see Reinier Zonneveld combined with Gabriel Ananda, showing their emotional and deep signature sound coming to the forefront, with mesmerizing melodies and brilliant synthwork. Perfect for a night closer or sunny open air.

Finally the EP closes of with Matt Sassari and Reinier going all out with an extreme energetic bomb, featuring a machine gun like synth bass.
