Spektre’s Respekt kickstarts 2022 with a driving two track techno release by UK artist Transcode.

Based in Manchester, Transcode has made numerous outings on other high-flying techno imprints such as Monika Kruse’s Terminal M and Reinier Zonneveld’s Filth On Acid.

Transcode made his Respekt debut in 2019, when he dropped an EP that also featured a collaboration with SAMA, but this time he returns with a solo release.

Boasting numerous tracks charting inside of Beatport’s top 10 techno section, this hard-hitting release blends dystopian atmosphere with pounding percussion and ominous sub-bass.

“Synesthesia” opens the release with its pounding kick drum and building suspense of the ambient synth line, which leads towards the trippy vocals and breakbeat percussion of the main breakdown, before an explosive drop that’s precision-engineered for maximum dance floor impact!

With a two year hiatus since 2020's Love in the Age of Machines album, Pleasurekraft's highly-anticipated return is finally here with a diverse two track EP. The title track sees the return of Mammal Hands' saxophonist Jordan Smart to the fold on yet another Pleasurekraft record; lush, narrative, and euphoric, "Umbilicis Universalis"  is symbolic of Pleasurekraft's continued expansion beyond mere dancefloor-driven music. "Meet Her At The Rave" is a solid and energetic techno track with a smooth touch of trance influences. The breezy cords that slide in the intro, take you to a slightly hypnotic state and leads you into a raw and harsh acid line that will set the tone at the drop. 

"X-Train" is built on a raw and rolling bassline layered with some hard hitting trance cords driven by pulsing kicks and high frequency drums. Arrived at the break, the quirky  breakbeats leaded by the raw and sawing bassline transposes the break controversially and build into the drop with a massive climax and an epic drop.
