Too cool!  Very impressive construction of sounds you heard on your journey.  I couldn't figure out the weird breathing until I read your description.  :-)

Really love the drum beat and sort of a sound FX mostly song. This is like Cyberpunk music.. Not sure about the picture but hay..

The Rat Palace was our studio from when we first started seriously working together in 2016 until the landlords decided it was time for the artists to go and the tourists to come. It had been Mat's base since 2009 and hosted dozens of artists and musicians since it first started in 2006.
As the name suggests the place was run down, lacked various things like hot water, proper access and heating but it had a vibe, and the people we shared the space with all felt and helped to create it....Art was everything, day after night after day for years.
These 7 improvisations are a tiny fraction of the jams we had there, just a few highlights from 100s of jams. They are raw, unpolished and unconcerned with anything outside the moment. We rarely 'rehearsed' as such at the Rat Palace - just played.
Things come and things go - Vale Rat Palace, you were amazing.

About the song 
Since the beginning of time, the wind has always been there, a beautiful and dangerous power of nature, totally unpredictable, one that man has harnessed to power their sails and lately to generate electricity. I know the wind fairly well being a windsurfer and fair weather sailor. I know how beautiful and dangerous the wind can be. I have great respect for the wind and the Sea and always will have and this song is a tribute to her.  

I would like to thank Finn Eces,  my friend and co-writer of this song. Finn and I have been quite a number of songs under our belts now and I think it must be nearly time for the 1st Album Finn. 
Finn’s voice and production skills have really taken “ The wind “ to a new level,  fine tuning of the lyrics, adding in of that driving bass and funky guitar as well as those beautiful harmony vocals really set this song up to be a real Summer hit in all the beach bars around the world ( If Only )

we're staying in 6/8 time. I'm glad to present you a song that was created in collaboration with Mike Fox and Charlie. With Mike I met someone here at Soundcloud who is not only an excellent musician, but also a friendly and humorous person. Our humor is the same. During our collaborations we exchanged emails that regularly had us rolling on the floor laughing. 
Thank you, Mike, you have become a good friend to me.

Together again (feat. Charlie & Mike Fox)

Traveling on the Kyoto subway for the first time after arrival from Sweden. Tired, hungry, hot and confused. There was no food on the Hello Kitty train.

Inspired by various recorded sounds from the Kyoto subway (with a short guest appearance from an airport robot), tuned and with some (slightly off the beat) koto and analog bass for company. The 'Darth Vader' breathing is the subway train's breaks. Sounds processed in Audacity then composed and mixed in Ableton.

This is the first of a series of tracks inspired by a trip to Kyoto for the ICE2024 conference.

Kraftkabel is the artist name of Philip I. Buckland. I am a musical scientist in a parallel universe living in a studio flat orbiting Jupiter. My keyboards are suspended in gravity nets, and my mixer is controlled by the power of the mind. My cosmic sequencing software masters through the power of emotion, and my keyboards are simultaneously both retro and new.
My music originates from the point of divergence of these universes - the mid-late 1980's, but is spliced by genre splicing interludes. I use a time machine and dimensional portal to get to work.

Plus some guitars that I can't really play very well. And an mbira, tin whistle and an alien head-shaped ukulele.
