Expression Received

All synth, bass, and drum sounds created using the Arturia MiniFreak. Several voice samples processed through granular effects, creating amazing fragmented textures.

Concrete Tape

In the tick of a clock, we chase shadows that never were. The past? A ghost, dissolved in the quantum haze, unprovable, unreachable. The future? A mirage, shimmering just beyond grasp. We are Clock Heads, tethered to a fiction of time, counting seconds while the present pulses—alive, singular, eternal. Strip away the hours, the minutes, the chains of "then" and "when." All that exists is now. Step into it. Feel it. This is "Clock Head," from the album Act As If, a call to break free from the illusion and dance in the infinite now.

CAUTION: Mixed for headphones. It might sound bassy at times on studio monitors.

Recreated sounds with a synth keyboard, drum samplers, and isolated bass guitar and vocals. All effects, and final mixing done within the Fl Studio DAW.

Final mix was not normalized. I'd rather listen to this without a loss of the dynamic range before the chorus follows.
