Yet another wet Danish summer passed; rain kept pouring for weeks on, so what else to do than hide in the studio tweaking knobs, exploring synthesizers, and pushing the limits of the bass bins? The moodiness of the summer rain at sundown inspired 2000F (a.k.a. Obeah) to produce this tune, digging deep into the mellow and melancholic parts of the Dubstep pallet. Drawing upon such various influences as classical Indian music, Jungle, and Ambient, Summer Rain is all about deep bass bliss.

Kraken Recordings is very proud to introduce the Copenhagen-based, mega talented producer DJ JB. Established as a well renowned dj in Denmark, representing the deep and soulful vibes of Dubstep, alongside the likes of Silkey, Kromestar and Mala at both underground events as well as the leading clubbing event in Scandinavia, RAW. 

His own original productions take the term "Dubstep" or "Bass Music" to the moods of minimal-Berlin, mid-90's Detroit mixed with the influences of dub. Containing deep, electronic sound scapes and a signature feel of rhythm and sub bass, it does not matter what BPM count is used or whether it's a halv-step or 4 by 4 beat. The sound is still DJ JB.

pulling vessels and seamen to a cold and dark grave. The extreme size and fearsome appearance attributed to the beast have made the Kraken the most feared creature of the sea. Kraken derives from the old Scandinavian word “krake”; designating an unhealthy animal, or something twisted.
