Fertil Discos, nóvel sello argentino con sede en Buenos Aires, presenta su más reciente compilación, dividida en dos volúmenes, con sonidos distinguidos en dos etapas del día: “Dia” y “Noche”.  En ellos se pueden apreciar los nuevos pasos de la corriente actual de artistas electrónicos influenciados por los sonidos y ritmos de Latinoamérica. 

El compilado propone un soundtrack ideal para atardeceres o amaneceres en islas desiertas, tomando inspiración de ritmos ancestrales, bajos electrónicos y producciones recientes con una mentalidad de  “música sin fronteras”.

Fertil discos is a newly born argentinean label, based in Buenos Aires. We are pleased to announce our most recent compilation, divided in two separate albums -one representing the Day, the other gathering Night sounds. Both records illustrate the new steps of the new wave of South America’s electronic artists, influenced by the sounds and rythms of our continent.

The compilation proposes you an ideal soundtrack for sunrises/sunsets on desert islands, drawing inspiration from ancient rhythms, electronic bass lines, and recent productions with a world music mindset.

Both volumes put together danceable songs like “Animal Estrella” (Pol Nada & El Remolón) and “Periferia” (Paisandoom); folktronic compositions like “Tejido” (Jin Yerei feat. Kona); slow techno songs like “Orobon” (Barda) and talented electronic compositions like “Dialogue” (Tomanka) and “Galata” (Santi) among other undiscovered gems.

Recorded in Sao Paulo with an allstar cast of Artéria FM (on vocal duties), Salvador Araguaya (caressing the Viola Caipira) & Spaniol (stroking the Baixo), steered by Nicola’s production prowess, this quartet delivers a melodic enhancement to the summer sun. KRΔUT is the moniker of Amsterdam’s household name Daniel Zuur  @danielzuur. With this alter ego he’s bound to bring his audience a flux of world music influenced electronica, different tempo’s and lots of percussion.  Daniel has been a staple in the Amsterdam club scene since 2009. His unique sound and organic mixes have earned him a name in the alternative electronic music scene, as his sets have been attributed to being melancholic, dynamic but above all, deeply melodic.  Haunted by the drums and his experience as a drummer in several bands, Daniel has developed an exceptional rhythm and sound that no label will do justice. As KR∆UT he released on labels like Shika Shika, Wonderwheel Recordings, Metanoia, Cosmic Awakenings, Tropical Twista Records and recently on new label The Other Eye where he got remixed by sir Acid Pauli.   The producer composes sets that exist in their own singularity; every single one being an individual story that creates its own atmosphere. Every set is textured by a whole variety of original tracks that he adapts with precise care and proper timing live on stage: dialogues, natural sounds and warm beats, all treated into a highly dynamic and unique set. Live he played at national and international clubs and festivals such as: Sisyphos, Fusion Festival, Gardens of Babylon, Wildeburg, Marktkantine, Garbicz and Welcome to the Future.

Daniel Zuur – Electronic musician, Producer & Live Composer

Daniel has been a staple in the Amsterdam club scene since 2009. His unique sound and organic mixes have earned him a name in the alternative electronic music scene, as his sets have been attributed to being melancholic, dynamic but above all, deeply melodic.
In 2012, the artist earned the award for “Best Producer” at Vinylized, the biggest Dutch competition for producers in the scene. Daniel has continued producing and played live at national and international clubs and festivals such as: Kater Holzig (Berlin), Katerblau (Berlin) Sisyphos (Berlin), Paradiso (Amsterdam), Perron (Rotterdam), Tivoli (Utrecht), Pleinvrees (Amsterdam), Shoeless (Amsterdam), Thuishaven (Amsterdam), Baum (Bogota, Colombia) and Next Mondays Hangover (Amsterdam).
In the summer of 2013, the producer released the “Tesla EP” with the hit “Never Gonna Break” on Berlin’s renowned label: Katermukke. Further labels on which he has released his work are: Manual Music, Cinematique and on his own label, Zauer Records of which he is owner and founder.
Haunted by the drums and his experience as a drummer in several bands, Daniel has developed an exceptional rhythm and sound that no label will do justice. Terms such as deep techno or house don’t cover enough ground. The producer composes sets that exist in their own singularity; every single one being an individual story that creates its own atmosphere. Every set is textured by a whole variety of original tracks that he adapts with precise care and proper timing live on stage: dialogues, natural sounds and warm beats, all treated into a highly dynamic and unique set. Consequently, no live set will ever be identical.
Daniel has been working together with other musicians such as singer/songwriter Florian Wolff. The interaction between his organic electronic sounds and other musical instruments ¬– with elements of jazz, pop and rock – create a unique and strikingly complete entity. The dialogue between every piece and instrument is exciting in the ear of the beholder. In this sense, Daniel is an extraordinary creative, always striving for progressiveness in his work.
