KRAY ATIEF (@unsafespaces_android_c17) is an Amsterdam-based artist with Indonesian-Dutch heritage whose eclectic approach to music defies conventional genre boundaries. From a young age, he has developed a deep passion for music, starting out by recording radio broadcasts onto cassette tapes to create his own mixtapes. This DIY spirit reflected his desire to experience music on his terms—always seeking out that elusive track without waiting for the radio DJ to play it. KRAY ATIEF’s love for discovery and his constant search for new sounds have shaped his musical identity, pushing him to move beyond traditional genres and BPMs. As a DJ, KRAY views his craft as an art form, describing it as "painting with sonic waveforms." His sets transcend the role of a traditional DJ, blurring the lines between mixing and curating, and inviting listeners into a world where sound is a living, breathing entity and we’re more than excited to share the amazing DJmix he made in one go for us.

Amsterdam's forward-thinking DJ extraordinaire, Kray Atief, crafts unique sonic narratives, each show a journey blending creative mixing and eclectic selections. 

This guest mix went a bit differently than expected. After Kray played the tracks he selected for this mix, we told him he could continue playing, and he topped it off with a 1.5-hour trip through the USB he had with him at the time. The tempo and energy reset after 1.5 hours, and that is when the "second" mix starts.
