As far as i cam remember, the 1st time i heard this instrument the Fender Rhodes, it was with this song : hard not to fall in love with such a "sound".
The engineer who mixed the original song is just amazing.

Aussi loin que je puisse me souvenir je crois bien que c'est avec ce titre que je suis tombé amoureux de cet instrument : le Rhodes.
L'ingénieur du son qui à mixé la chanson de l'album original est juste incroyablement bon. 
Difficile aussi de ne pas tomber amoureux avec un son pareil.

MIDNIGHT COURTYARD

So excited to be releasing our latest original The Journey, with Dan van den Berg on guitar.  This one is extra special to me, not only because it again includes Dan's magical acoustic guitar playing on it, but also because a few weeks ago, while working on his parts for this tune, Dan decided to recreate the entire tune in a flamenco style using three guitar parts, and dedicated the music to me.  It was a huge surprise to me, and one that demonstrates the deep understanding Dan has for music,  his fondness for the passion of music and also for the friendship that we both share.  For our version here, Dan is once again performing on his gorgeous Joan Cashimira acoustic guitar. All my life, I’ve had to hide who and what I am. I’ve never been what the world calls “normal.” As I say in 'I Don’t Write Songs "I Survive"', my brain just isn’t wired the way it should be. I’ve been called weird, not right in the head, bonkers, even crazy. So I learned to mask, to shrink, to pretend. But here.. here, I get to breathe. To be.

And it’s not just the music. It’s the comments, the replies, the strange and sparkling conversations where I finally feel like I don’t have to filter myself. I can be full volume, full chaos, full heart, and somehow, that’s not just accepted, it’s welcomed.

You beautiful humans (and possibly aliens) have given me something I never thought I’d find, a place to be fully myself. To speak how I feel, to show what I see, and to turn it all into sound and words without shame. The way you’ve welcomed me, supported me, seen me, there are no words. (Yes, I know. Me. The Queen of Words. Speechless. Don’t get used to it.)
