Introducing ‘TIRA’, the fifth and final single taken from Bristol based producer KREED’s forthcoming album project ‘A Brief History’, landing September 30th.

This final offering sees KREED team up with the exceptional vocal talents of Nãnci Correia. Born in Lisbon but raised in South London, Nãnci first came to light as part of ‘Nãnci & Phoebe’, the underground UK Jungle sensation. Since then, her solo work has taken the scene by storm with a collection of deeply introspective and soulful releases, experimenting further with influences of R&B, Jazz, and Latin music. 

KREED & Nãnci Correia have joined forces on ‘TIRA’, a track that twists and turns between influences spanning from R&B to Baile Funk. ‘TIRA’ translates to English from Portuguese as ‘strip’ or ‘throw away’, and shows Nãnci exploring lyrical themes of stripping away negative energy and thoughts, with a vocal performance that is harmonically rich, detailed and compelling. This is supported by an instrumental from KREED consisting of intricate percussion, wall-shaking sub bass and expressive melodies. 

‘A Brief History’ LP is due for full release on 30th September and will be available across all major digital/streaming platforms, also accompanied by a physical release of 12” heavyweight 180g vinyl.

Introducing a brand new single from Bristol based producer KREED, taken from his forthcoming album project ‘A Brief History’ landing in September this year.

This first offering is a collaboration with one of London’s finest artists, Prynce Mini. Hailing from Peckham and Jamaica, Prynce is one of the most versatile artists/producers in the game, and a real treasure of UK music.

Freedom of Speech is a hard hitting, impactful single both sonically and lyrically. Mini’s smooth, melodic flow is both powerful and educative, supported by an intricate and signature bass heavy instrumental by KREED that is primed for the sound systems.

Freedom Of Speech Ft. Prynce Mini

Introducing ‘Cool & Deadly’, the second single taken from Bristol based producer KREED’s forthcoming album project ‘A Brief History’, landing September this year.
 
Following the release of the first single ‘Freedom of Speech’ ft. Prynce Mini in May, this second drop from the album shows KREED teaming up with one of the most celebrated sound system music artists in the UK, Solo Banton. A true favourite of the international Reggae/Dancehall scene, Solo is known and loved for his vintage deejay style, intelligent (often comical) content, and energy filled live performances. 

The pair have linked up to bring us ‘Cool & Deadly’, a sonically rich and bass-heavy track that is primed for the club sound systems. Lyrically, Solo takes us on a journey through the dancehall, whilst emphasising the importance of allowing people enjoy themselves free of judgment and aggravation. This is backed by an intricate instrumental by KREED, packed full of low bass weight energy, heavy drums and ‘Wild West’ references.

Cool & Deadly Ft. Solo Banton

Introducing ‘Loving Cause’, the third single taken from Bristol based producer KREED’s forthcoming album project ‘A Brief History’, landing September this year.

Following the release of the first two singles taken from the album, this third offering is a collaboration with one of the UK’s most exciting and stylistically diverse up and coming artists, Catching Cairo. Descending from North London, Cairo’s dreamy and unique sound incorporates elements of R&B, Soul, Bass and Reggae, resulting in a mix of enticing vocal melodies and introspective storytelling that is consistently captivating audiences around the world.

KREED & Catching Cairo have teamed up on ‘Loving Cause’, a smooth and elegant four to the floor track packed full of soul, melody and bass weight. Cairo’s contemplative and self-reflective lyrics radiate with her signature sincerity, presented with lush and soulful vocal harmonies. Underneath, KREED’s backing track is full of signature intricacies and texture, clear and punchy drum sounds, and warm sub bass that is primed for the club sound systems.

Loving Cause Ft. Catching Cairo

Introducing ‘In The Night’, the fourth single taken from Bristol based producer KREED’s forthcoming album project ‘A Brief History’, landing September this year.

Following the release of the first three singles taken from the album, this fourth offering is a collaboration with two the UK’s most exciting up and coming artists, Charli Brix and Gardna. Hailing from London & now living in Bristol, Charli Brix has spent the last ten years exploring the realms of underground electronic music as an established multi-genre vocalist & DJ. Sitting comfortably among some of the most well known voices in drum & bass, Brix’ repertoire extends from d&b to r&b, dubstep and beyond. Alongside Charli, ‘In The Night’ features a verse from KREED’s long time collaborator Gardna, who has been making waves in the UK music scene with his sophomore album ‘Time & Space’, produced by KREED and Brad Baloo.

The three have teamed up ‘In The Night’, a 140 garage bubbler packed full of soul, melody and primed for the sound systems. Charli and Gardna go back and forth discussing nostalgic lyrical themes, backed by an intricate and bass heavy instrumental by KREED.
