EDIT 2022-12-27 – As you may know by now, Faithless' singer, Maxi Jazz, has recently passed away.

I've been feeling very sad about this, knowing that his voice has contributed to the very roots of the same electronic music that got me hooked onto it in the first place. Whenever you hear his voice in music, you know it is him, and you know it's a Faithless tune, and you know it is an awesome piece.

I did a bootleg of their "Salva Mea" song back in 2014 that many people downloaded and shared, and still do. Many DJs played it on the stages and in their shows and streams. The very core of the track, the elements that Sister Bliss and Maxi Jazz put together in the original, carries on within, and I'm glad that through it some people experienced and will experience the power of the voice that contributed to Faithless' tunes: the mysterious, deep, never over the top vibes that his lyrics and tone brought.

That's just one of many ways how he leaves a legacy and I am very sure that, at many times in the future, I will listen back to his work, with these thoughts in mind.

Rest in Peace, Maxi Jazz.

I made this rework as a tribute to Keith Flint who as I'm sure you know passed away earlier this year. 

Keith and The Prodigy are who got me into dance music at a young age and to this day are still my biggest influence and my favourite group.

I wanted to create this so that his iconic vocals would hopefully be heard again on stereos and systems around the world. Please feel free to share this.

With a DJ career spanning over 20 years and having released tracks for nearly 10, Kriess continues to build a career that displays his life long love for electronic music. 

As a DJ he has travelled the globe, playing in cities such as Los Angeles, Sydney & Melbourne and recently playing at every edition of the Euphoria Weekender festival in Malta since 2022. Back in the UK he has spun at institutions such as Ministry of Sound, Turnmills, Camden Palace (Know known as Koko), SE1 and more. He has also promoted his own events; Perfected which ran both at the legendary venue ‘The Cross’ in London and on the south coast in Portsmouth, as well as running the Submerged boat parties on the Thames in London.

Since 2015 his tracks have been released on labels such as Outburst, Nocturnal Knights, Tidy Trax, Damaged, High Voltage, Mental Asylum, Pure Trance, Monster Tunes & more. His music has received multiple plays on Armin van Buuren’s A State Of Trance radio show and he’s reached the top 5 in the Beatport trance chart. Scene leading names such as Paul van Dyk, Ben Nicky, Ferry Corsten, Aly & Fila, Simon Patterson and many more have supported his work. 

His show ‘Synthsonic Sessions’ has been running since 2012 and has been his showcase for his style and taste as it has evolved alongside the scene. The regular format has been an hour of power, ebbing and flowing between various subgenres of trance and often other genres too. 

Kriess is often known for a techier edge to his sound, often also influenced by the early hedonistic rave days of the early 90’s. Alongside his cutting edge tastes, he is a student of the game in regards to the trance scene and as such is always willing to display his knowledge of the classics when requested.
