@djfreethrow es un proyecto nacido en Atlantic City. Aunque la historia musical de su creador comenzó en la adolescencia con el punk y el noise, fue una visita a Berlín lo que lo llevó a enamorarse del techno. Años más tarde, decidió dar forma a este alias bajo el cual mezcla y produce ritmos tribales y funky inspirados en el techno noventero, influenciado por sellos como Radikal Records, Purpose Maker, Hardgroove, entre otros.

Su propuesta no solo vive en lo sonoro: Freethrow acompaña su música con una estética peculiar que mezcla consolas de videojuegos y baloncesto de los 90s y 2000s. Todo gira en torno a una nostalgia vibrante, alimentada por la cultura sonora de los estadios en aquella época, que curiosamente coincide con los orígenes del techno que hoy representa.

Además de DJ y productor, Freethrow es programador, y ha encontrado en el retro gaming otra vía para experimentar con el sonido. Fascinado por el PlayStation One, no solo lo ha restaurado como reproductor de CD para sus sets, sino que también ha explorado su potencial como herramienta de producción musical. Aunque su núcleo siempre será la música, disfruta crear puentes entre escenas y épocas, buscando formas nuevas (o perdidas) de hacer sonar el presente.

Polish DJ/producer Ketiov, widely known as one half of the internationally acclaimed House duo Catz 'n Dogz and co-founder of CARBS imprint, continues to carve out his solo path under the Ketiov moniker. Following his 'Rhythm Trainx Vol. 4' via Gerd Janson and Thorsten Scheu's Running Back, he now links up with good friend, United Colours of Rhythm founder and CARBS resident, Fernanda Arrau - a Chilean DJ championing boundary-pushing and diverse sounds. Beyond her curatorial work, Fernanda's productions have garnered widespread acclaim, with releases on respected labels such as Permanent Vacation, Shall Not Fade, Pets Recordings, and more.

Joining forces on Step Recordings, the pair unite for 'Sin Prisa', a classy, organic groove-led single with rhythmic textures and dub-like essences, before Edvvin's remix reimagines the cut with a loaded, punchy remix oozing infectious energy.

Following their standout debut on Spectra with ‘Time To Change’, Bulgaria’s finest dance music export KiNK & Raredub return to the Mutual Rytm universe to launch the label’s new sub-series: Mutual Rytm Raw. Their latest release, ‘You And Me’, marks the next step in their collaboration - two stripped-back yet anthemic cuts that embody their signature sound: “Rude Boy Techno”, a fusion of techno’s drive with the swing and grit of UK Garage.
