Lenzman - FABRICLIVE x Bukem In Session Mix

Producing euphoric, rave contorting drum & bass seems to be Tom Mundell's special skill. As Metrik he'd already released on labels like Viper, Spearhead and Shogun Audio before he signed exclusively with Hospital Records but since then he's further underlined those early shades of promise with his self titled debut EP on the label and worldwide tours. Ahead of a 2014 that's reportedly stacked with big projects he's taken the time to thread a dancefloor focused narrative throughout this 32 minute mix, made ahead of his upcoming appearance in Room Two on Friday 18th April.

There hasn't been a rise to notoriety quite like that of Hospital Records' seminal signee, S.P.Y. After making a huge impact on the drum & bass circuit with his debut album, What The Future Holds, back in 2011, the studio dynamo is once again showcasing his unparalleled production skills with his two part follow up LP, Back To Basics (Part One of which was released earlier this year). Taking a slightly darker direction this time around, the records been split into two parts, a process which according to S.P.Y was the only way to trim back a 70 track strong catalogue of music he had earmarked for it. . 

So, with a only a couple months before he releases the second chapter, we grabbed an exclusive new mix and caught up with the Brazilian producer to chat about the project as a whole and the forthcoming record and what to expect come August 1st when he’ll touch down in Room One alongside London Elektricity, Source Direct and Lenzman for the album launch...

Ahead of what will be a supreme cast of selectors heading down to Room Two for the FABRICLIVE leg of our 16th Birthday celebratory weekend, we’ve linked with one of the night’s pivotal participators, the ever prolific Logistics and asked him if he could lend us a hand fuelling the hype by putting together a brand new promo mix. The All Night Long tour has given me the opportunity to really explore the music that I love in a live setting, and experiment more than is usually possible when playing with other DJs.

The sets go right through my favourite genres from ambient and post classical to downtempo, house, electronica, techno, glitch and even some of my old drum and bass records when I could get away with it.
