This remastered album "Flight of Light" chronicles the dramatic shift in Inge's world as the idyllic life she knew in Book 1 becomes overshadowed by the growing influence of the Nazi regime. Inge and her siblings are drawn into the activities of the Hitler Youth and League of German Girls, experiencing a strange mix of camaraderie, newfound responsibilities, and subtle indoctrination.

The music for Book 2 mirrors this internal and external conflict, expressing the emotional turmoil of a nation on the brink of war and a family struggling to maintain its values in the face of overwhelming change.
