This young producer from Menorca surprises us with a complete work where he reaches the maximum exponent of his deep and minimal sound. The evolution of this artist it’s notorious on ‘Bodied’ where the quality jump is more than visible.

Also head honcho of Talayotik Records, a free download platform where he showcases some interesting newcomers as Rollyax, Arxiva or Violent Cuts; (artists that share roster with Parallel) this youngster from Menorca is not only a DJ and a producer but also a promoter of the scene, and his humble character and his continuous work made him the best candidate to join the family.

'On Lock' kicks off with a lazy, swinging beat underneath the dark, twisted bars formulated by GEAR. Ruckus then allows the vocals to take the limelight they deserve, before unleashing a weighty arsenal of ghastly, gritty sonics. Alternating between rhythmic styles throughout the track, Ruckus perfectly clears the stage for GEAR to take the reigns on this one. It is without doubt that the synergy heard throughout this track, cements the name of this unique EP.

Canterbury-based imprint and platform Debunked Records celebrate their mega upcoming 2000 followers milestone with a brand new, criminally-stacked VA compilation, featuring the likes of James Hiraeth, Tungo, DFFRNT, Jaykee, Sephlo and many more, including this belter from Bristolian don Para. All of that Para grit and bassweight we've come to know is showcased in full here, whilst also pushing out the metaphorical bass boat and reaching new, fresh ground as well. Para's laser focus on combining sweaty, danceflood-focused Drum & Bass with submerged, robotic synths and stabs pays off in full, resulting in a delightfully evil, dystopian cut that cements its place as one of the crowning jewels of the LP.
