Hard to categorize this style of music but the level of imagination and studio artistry is top notch. 
This aint' drum machine loop stuff you'ld hear at an EDM show but a noticeably sophisticated and well regrooved collection.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that what the name is pointing to is something weightless, something dark, something slow and deliberate, something with a mini-ensemble of instruments that flicker and glide more than they jump and explode.

Many moons ago I played in a band called D-Ko, and we had a track called 'Positronic'. It was an innocent track with a crap name for an innocent time, but like many once innocent things it grew and prospered, and eventually became the much better, less innocent, but equally crappily named 'Golden Eyes'. Some people danced. Some cried. Some gurned. Most cultivated a studied indifference...

But back when it was 'Positronic', it sounded a hell of a lot like John Farnham's stirring 1988 call to arms 'Age Of Reason' (written by the Hunter brothers from Dragon and some other chick for the chinstrokers out there), and since 2004 (an innocent year if ever there was one) I've thought "I really should remix that tune." And after five years of deep introspection, I did. It goes a little something like this. And there's only one word for anyone not reaching for the lasers around the five minute mark - Un-Australian.

She adopted the name Suzi Lane prior to the release of her debut album Ooh, La, La.The album was produced by Giorgio Moroder who was also producing Donna Summer at that time. Lane said she met Summer at the recording studio and that she was influenced by the "high-energy electronica" sound pioneered by Moroder and Summer..Soon after the release of the album, Lane was involved in a car accident in which her face was seriously injured by the broken windshield. Lane spent three years in seclusion at her home in Las Vegas recuperating.
