Yamuna devi dasi foi uma das primeiras devotas iniciadas por Swami Prabhupada nos Estados Unidos.

Prabhupada sempre pedia que Yamuna liderasse os sankirtanas tocando e cantando. Ela sempre teve o respeito e confiança do mesmo, por ser uma devota de primeira classe.

Yamuna também cozinhou para Swami Prabhupada; escreveu livros de culinária vegetariana incluindo os pratos prediletos que fazia para Gurudeva.

Yamuna devi dasi was one of the first devotees initiated by Swami Prabhupada in the United States.

 Prabhupada always asked Yamuna to lead the sankirtanas by playing and singing.  She has always had his respect and trust as a first-class devotee.

 Yamuna also cooked for Swami Prabhupada;  she wrote vegetarian cookbooks including the favorite dishes she made for Gurudeva.
