"Corner Kings" originated in the middle of southern Illinois as the voice of modern street conscious rap music. Since their inception to the independent music underworld, some have dubbed them as "The Leaders of the New Age". The Kings released their debut project in 2015 titled as "The Chosen Few" via social media outlets as a free project for the public. Members include Steph Durry, from the neighboring streets of Chicago, who wields his talent for depicting vivid street stories of his survival on the brutal avenues in and around the city. Marc Bishop from the Windy City himself, another street poet from the group displays his inherent lyrical abilities on various tracks. His penchant for using a plethora of metaphors is undoubtedly one of the best features on the Intro. Ty Third Eye, or as others may know to be as Tiired Eyes, from East St. Louis creates his artistic vision through elaborate uses of his higher persona which establishes a lyrical "magnetic field" around the group in regards to the rephrasing in which he positions his distinct style not only with words, but with maneuvering physically as he does his own "Big-spin front board slide" down every verse. Easy Stacks also known as Syntax, from East St. Louis uses his conceptual perspective to synchronize the group's "supernatural" energy, seeking to unite the powers of the others, Easy explores his proclivity for divine art and psychoacoustics. Together, United, The Corner Kings gave the world a New Thought.
