I used my Roland Handsonic trigger / pads / effect unit for the tabla, and electronics, My Ibanez Geo, plugged into the Line 6 Spider, with a digitech RP-80 pedal, and Korg Pandoras box, for different effects... also a Shure SM58 for the vocals--Spoken word poetry. This is literally THE 1st song I've ever recorded using compression! I love the new plug in's for the updated Garage Band, and SLAMMED hard for this track #2 off my upcoming album "Celestial Scope of Surreal Sequences". My favorite part is the bass-slapping at 1:26! You may have noticed the drums are identical to "Quick Sand", as this is the finalized and expanded version with the updated title.

I wrote these lyrics by a beautiful river I used to live near. I thought my writing was some kind of holy book, like a torah or bible, for an unknown religion. I'm using a Digitech effects pedal for the sounds. A portion of these lyrics are from Abraham Rubin ( Alex Rubin ) who I discovered and used to play music with. I just found the full extended version of this accumulation... I had always wondered why the version I had cut off around the 2-3 minute mark and am THRILLED to have the entire song. the song is an expedition. FREE DOWNLOAD!
